Why can't they make a rechargeable PV that is the same size of the NJoy King and throat hits like it too?

Certainly there's a market for PVs that look and feel exactly like a cigarette. You can be assured that njoy did a thorough market vetting before releasing the disposable King nationwide, so there must be demand for it (I demand it!!). I use an Ego clone for primary vaping, but when I take my "cigarette breaks" at work, I like to "smoke" a cig-sizer, as this tricks my feeble, rickety brain into believing I'm giving it a good ol' fashion tobacco nic-stick.

I've tried the ePuffer Colobri and the SafeCig Micro -horrid flavor, absolutely no throat hit what-so-ever. Why is this?

And so, experts, I kindly ask of thee these questions three:

What did njoy do to allow such a great throat hit (it's not just the high nic content)?

How in the friggin' hell does NJoy get away with stating that their ecig is commensurate with 2 packs of analogs?

If you already know of a company that is creating such a device, will you please tweet the deets (give the details) my way?

Thanks mucho.

That's a tough one because most vets have moved on from ciggy looking ecigs a long time ago. I started with one and after about 2 wks moved on to an ego. That lasted about a month and then I moved on to a mod. So I'm afraid I can't help you but hopefully somebody with more experience with ciggy looking ecigs can help you.

Simple,,,, the battery life SUCKS. Felt like you do once but got tired of carrying around 2 ego twists with charger and trying to find a USB port to charge with. I went with the bulky e vic and it took a while to get use to but 2500mah battery is the first one to last me all day without charging.I like that.
What your looking for is already out there but the trade off is extra batteries and a charger you have to bring everywhere.

Much like in the flashlight world, we vapors are limited, you want a small size, or run time? You only get one! Battery technology hasn't changed much in the last ten years, so we are still facing this dilemma. I wish I could get a 10440 (AAA sized) battery that would put out 3100mah, but it's not going to happen in my life time!
I started out with Vapor4life, I got three, maybe four hours out of cig alike batteries, on a good day. The new Titans seem to fair a bit better, but I wouldn't leave the house without three of them! As well as they seem to have gotten rather pricey.
The Volt kit's get decent reviews, but from your post, I doubt it would have the run time you desire.
Next up is the EGO's, but you step up in size. This is the trade off, run time, or size. The bigger the battery, the longer it runs, the smaller the battery, the less run time you get.
As for the throat hit, it comes down to the way the delivery device is set up. 510 is the most common connector, but I certainly don't think it's the best! I like the 808 and 801's better, smoother draw and not as airy feeling to me. But as 510 is the leader, I've set most my gear up for that. A good vendor will have spent time researching and finding a way to maximize his device to his delivery device to make the best of both of them. Many people seem to have forgotten how and why you do this. They may utilize better airflow, they may have lower resistance carto's to get the TH (which shortens battery life) maybe set the coil higher or lower than the competitor to utilize the air flow and resistance to suit the desired effect. Lots of little changes add up to a big effect to the end user.
As for equating to 2 packs, this is the biggest misnomer I've read on this forum! Much like everything with vaping, it's subjective. I've read of 2-3 PAD smokers that use 2ml of juice a day. I've heard of 1/2 PAD smokers that use 10ml of juice a day. There's no rhyme or reason to any of it. I can easily kill 6ml plus a day, I would go through 4-6 carto's a day! Thank goodness for tanks! Some people need to chain vape, some don't, so no, there really isn't anyway to judge how long a carto is going to last anyone, so I've no idea how they come to these conclusions!
I know I'm not much help, but I think an 1100mah (or larger) EGO of some sort, would be about the best compromise I can offer you at this time. This keeps the size manageable, and will give you around 6hrs of use, depending on use.
