I was just wondering why people picked what they picked to vape

I picked th KR808D1 from V2 because it was easy to use, just screw on the catro and screw it off. I picked V2 because I heard it was a great product, but man it is like pulling teeth getting your order! I am trying out V4L because they use the 808's as well and I am looking into Bloog because again I heard they were great.

So, what "sold" you on your e-cig kit?:vapor:

I picked v4l cause I got attacked by the v4l fanboy club. Plus I wanted something simple. 2 piece design, lots of flavors in juice and carto's, plus I think they are a little more stylish and generous in their ordering system. Their kits come with lots of goodies and every order I got so far always has freebies. Initially I got 2 batteries, carry case, pass through, charger, and USB charger... Plus 10 pre filled carts free... For like $50 after promo code.

Also really cool that since I subscribed to them I always get promo codes in my email. Every order I've placed has always been 20 - 30% off cause of that. Still trying to find a better site. Lol

I feel like I'm a fanboy now. But seriously if you want a all in one purchasing experience they are pretty good. Their promo codes and juice selection is what has me going back all the time. If they added a ego style battery to their line up they'd be pretty close, if not, golden.

That's why I started there.

Hi mzkitty,
I too, bought a kr8 as my first PV. I purchased it for the same reasons you did. It seemed to be easy to use and was recommended by others who had a lot more knowledge about e-cigs than I did. Now that I've been vaping for a while, I've learned(and practiced) that you can use a 901 atomizer on the kr8. Although I basically drip my cartomizer, the kr8 gives a more flavorful vape when you drip onto the 901 attie.
Recently, I made a 5 volt passthrough. That works great with the 901 attie and I find myself using the PT more than the batteries with the kr8. You'll have to try it sometime.
I've read about the bloog Maxxfusion, but they seem a bit pricey.
My next investment will probably be a PigCig battery. My kr8 cartos will fit on it and the batt is good for several hours between charges. I'm on the road and behind the wheel a lot during the day, so the long batt life will be helpful.
Good luck in all of your future vaping endeavors. see you around the forum.
By the way, did you know that your whitetail is wearing a tiara? LOL.

Yeah, that is why I headed to V4L, those promo codes are irresistable, plus little girly me, loves are the colors and styles of the batteries!

I'm not much for the colors. But I do like that when I put comments in the order for LED color and such that they listen. Their customer service is pretty good. That's also what I heard about them that made me pick them. Definitely try what Numevexo said with the pigcig. For like $30 bucks u get a big bat and charger. Grab a 901 atty and it's like having best of both on your KR. I didn't know about the pig cig till recently. I got a eGo 510 kit. Not really feeling much of a difference between the 808 and 510 aside from my eGo going strong all day lol. I just "prefer" the KR I guess. Maybe the 3.7 up from 3.2v really does make the difference lol.

I was a full strength smoker for decades. The after some hospital stays went to lights then super-slim ultralights smoker (until I could no longer afford the $64/carton ultralights). So I had to go back to lights which were 2x the nicotine and harsh but cheap. So I was sort of looking for something like those slim ultralights. So after reading everything here I went with one of the two super-minis with a shred of respect, M402 (manual batteries) and it was a bit weak and inconsistent due to the small carts but got me right off cigarettes (I chose the right nicotine etc). Eventually upgraded the batteries to the longer M401 ones (should have started with them but where I bought only had the PCC for M402). I still vape the M401 part time. It was what I was looking for in feel and look, though it could have been a bit stronger.

Then I was curious about prefilled cartos and got a Vapor4Life (KR8) and ended up using that with 901 attys as my tasty dessert/fruity PV until my 901 attys got weak in some way cleaning doesn't fix. Now out of necessity using the cartos (and hoping I don't up my nic dependence because that is a bigger hit than I am used to)

Also got a 510 out of curiosity but it's a apparently a clone and the carts that came in the kit don't even fit in right (seem to be Mega carts). Still need to get some proper carts for it though I have used it a bit with a 306 atty and carts which I sort of liked so I am getting a mega battery for that setup.

I started with the 510 from zeecigs. It was the first e-cig site I stumbled upon. Pretty satisfied so far. Battery life isn't great. Change bats about 3x/day. Thinking about upgrading to the eGo when the 510 dies. Best part is I'm smoke free for 2 weeks now after 30+ years. Never been able to quit for even ONE DAY before e-cigs.

My first eCig, I chose an eGo, due mainly to it's long battery life. At the time, January of 2010 it was one of the longest lasting batteries out there that was also small in size. I've never regretted it and have since bought another eGo set, 3 USB eGos, and 2 colorful eGo's (I think they're T-rex, one is a pretty purple).

My 2nd type of eCig, I chose the Silver Bullet in black because it takes batteries that can be bought anywhere and the battery lasts me 2 days instead of 8 hrs. (I live off grid). I also have the PT for it. (they don't make the PT anymore). It's a workhorse and huge.... it wouldl be difficult to lose it.

The 3rd type of eCig I chose and bought is the Illuminated Juice Box by Stu and it should be here tomorrow or the next. I chose this, because it's cute, cool, and it's affordable. I'll know whether or not I like the bottom feeders before spending tons of money on one.

I am vaping a Joye eGo 650mAh currently because a friend was using the same (he had a 900mAh at the time; I went with a starter kit from Elixir Liquids). Now he has a 1000mAh PT, and I'm contemplating my move up to a 6V mod of some sort...we'll see. As for now I'm very, VERY happy with my choice, and continue to enjoy tinkering with cart mods...lol. PTB straw mod all the way...for now. :)

I went with the Joye 510 series (510, 510 mega and eGo) because of the versatility. The ability to ude either use carts, cartos, or dripping was appealing to me. I also liked the fact that fact that the 510 and eGo parts are interchangeable. Appeared to be a relatively inexpensive way to get just about everything.

When I started I had no knowledge about e-cigs. I bought a 510 kit, found ECF and found out I made a good choice. I moved on to the BB from altsmoke after a couple weeks. I vaped the crap outta that thing. I'm now using an Ali'i from R&R Manufacturing. I get a couple days worth of battery and juice in one unit.

i first went with a nJoy ecig from 7-11 because i saw a friend using one. after buying that and i had noticed i went 8 hours without an analog, i figured lets do it, and the congratulatory response from my wife upon learning of this was PRICELESS..... so, since that purchase i havent had 1 analog, and found myself not liking the smell of cigs and people who smoked LOL. so here i was looking throuogh this forum to get info and ended up buying a KR808. love the easiness of screwing/unscrewing and just buying prefilled carts. I dont vape as much as most on here, so the pre filled is perfect. anyway thats my story and im sticking to it.... happy vaping
