Just wanted to pop in and say "thanks" for the great resource this forum has been. I've known about e-cigs for a couple years and have even owned one for a couple months, but only used it occasionally and didn't really change my smoking habits. I finally decided on a 100% transition to e-cigs last week and started delving a bit deeper into the available options, which of course led me here.
It all startedand this must be pretty typicalwith an RN4081 kit from the mall. Using their "one cart = one pack" guideline, I substantially underestimated how much fun and how easy it is to plop down in front of the TV and blast through .... errrm ... a lot of cartriges.
And of course the battery life left much to be desired, so it was quickly back to the mall for a second batt and a nice inventory of carts.
Well, shoot. They promised me I'd save money but I was spending twice on carts, what I would on analogs. Which I didn't really mind given all the advantages, but was definitely eager to learn what else was out there.
For the last week I've been soaking up as much information as I can from here, figuring out which "serious" PV was for me (vaping away the whole time of course). And finally, last night there it was. Perfection. Love at first sight. Absolute confidence that I'd stumbled upon it: The Super-T Precise 18650 in SS/Brass w/801 adapter. As a mechanical engineer, tinkerer, hobby machinist, and supporter of high-quality USA-made goods, how could I resist? From other hobbies I already own stacks of AW18650's and various LiIon chargers. How can you argue with 2900mAH? Along with some 801 and 510 atties, drip tips, and a nice sampling of FSUSA juices, should be ready to take this to the next level when it all arrives. May just order a 510 unit to hold me over while I wait for the Super-T. Excitement would be an understatement!
This past summer I couldn't have even imagined trying to stop smoking. Bottom line now is: Can't believe how much better this is. I'm hooked, and just fine with that.
Thanks again.
