I disagree that a complex juice (two+ flavors) tastes the same on day two as it would on day 22. It is chemistry and just like with wine, a complex juice needs time to properly meld and coalesce. Does Tribeca taste great on day two? Yes, it does. But let it sit and mellow for a few weeks and it really comes together. The NETs certainly change over time, they become more distinctive and compete.

Does PG Hype need to be steeped? Probably not. One flavor juices don't either, and some complex juices are gonna be just as crappy on day two as they are on 22. It's not that the juices necessarily get better, they just change and IMO almost always become more balanced and enjoyable.

I have been reading that some people refuse to buy juice that requires steeping. Why is steeping such a big deal to some people, I really don't get it because that knocks out like 95 percent of vendors out there. I mean the way I see it is that if you buy custom made juice that it's always going to require steeping no matter what to evaporate some of the chemicals and to let the flavors blend.

I dunno.

Maybe because we live in a 30 Minutes or Less Society?

BTW - If the Rams beat the Seahawks and Arizona Losses to the 9'ers, the world would be a Happy Place.

No lol that would be a bad thing. The seahawks deserve the superbowl, the 49ers had there chance

You make a Good Argument.

Because for as Long as I can Remember, the Seahawks have kinda been the NFL's Ugly Step Child. A Brief Spurt with Hassleback and Holmgren, but aside from that, lots of L's in the R.H Column.

If the 9'ers get knocked out I'll route for the Seahawks.

I probably also does not help when a new vaper goes to a store and orders some flavors then at the last minute is casually told that he has to let it wait for a weeks.

For juice makers, it makes sense to do some kind of presteeping, just as fast food restaurants precook stuff.

If it were me mixing the stuff, I'd offer steeping for a little more; pay a little more and I'll see about the steeping and call you when it's ready; otherwise, if you want to save that cost, you steep it yourself.

People who use that ultrasonic cleaners and other devices for speedy steeping could make a little money offering steeping as a service.

I'll vouch for ultrasonic agitation in warm water. Unfortunately, I got a cheap one from harbor freight that broke in a month. I conducted my own experiment thanks to a B&M that does short-order mixing. I'd like to try the same experiment on a juice that's notorious for needing to be "aged". There may be a component to the aging process that wasn't important in the liquid I previously used as a subject. Anyhow, that's for another thread when I have th right hardware.

I've been doing this for roughly 6 months. Bought 100s of bottles to this day. Nothing I didn't like the first day tasted any better days/weeks/months later.

Best new juices get at my house is a really hot bath and maybe 1 night without the cap. But I've just found my new favorite places(thevapetree) that is amazing just walking towards the mailbox. No steeping needed, slightly presteeped.

For me it's a matter of organization. I've got a lot of juice. Some I've had for 4 months, some for 4 days. I'm not organized enough to know which bottles I've had for how long. I want to be able to grab any bottle of juice on my shelves and vape it without wondering if it's been steeped, and if so if it's been steeped long enough.

I think it would be worthwhile for vendors to have a Bottled On date on the label. I don't know why this isn't standard procedure.

To skew that idea a little, I think it would resolve a lot of issues of the companies creating the juice would clearly state, for each flavor, on their website and on the label, a "recommended steeping time".

Recommended steeping time: None, 2 days, 2 weeks, 2 months.

It isn't as if those that make juices which (probably) require some steeping aren't aware that this is the case. I don't know why so many of them risk having a customer feel kind of cheated (because they bought juice which they naturally want to use right away), or risk the customer thinking "wow that juice is awful" and tossing it. Either reaction can lose them customers.

Vapors are enthusiastic fans and loyal if treated well

Anyway, it would be a huge relief for me at least, if I could go to one the vendors I've been reading about and am curious about, as a 1st time customer for a particular juice, and know pretty clearly what's in store for me when the mail arrives without having to do any research to find out how much steeping might be required. Research should really only consist of reading flavor reviews, that's what hooks me and inspires me to try something.

A brand newbie would be even more relieved to have it all up front and clear.

Seeing as my housemates last juice order took over 2 months to get to Australia from the States, we figured with the amount of shaking it got in the post and the time elapsed, we'd just vape it straight away...lol.

The 3 leaking bottles out of the 5 ordered should have had time to release any chemical smells too.
