why does my atomizer (modded) make crackling and pop noises

im paranoid that if those pop noises is the juices exploding from the coil and hits my throat and toungne and burn me. what is this weird experience about?

It's just the juice vaporizing on and inside the coil.

To me it means that I built and wicked it perfect! I love the snap, crackle and pop! It never hurts on the rare occasion it hits my tongue but it does hurt when it shoots out an air hole and hits me in the eye!!

I've only had hot juice hit my tongue once in 2 months but it didn't burn or anything, was just surprising and not tasty

Right or wrong, that popping I seem to associate with a fresh, clean, hot coil heating "just right." I have never had any juice spatter as a result.

If it got you in the eye, you may be doing it wrong

Depending on what you're vaping, it may just be how your coil is wicked. Years ago, I used the old 302 bridged attys as a dripper. Those things would spit constantly!

On RDA's properly wicked with good juice delivery, I get the normal (satisfying) crackling of vaporizing juice, but rarely get the pops or spitting. Either way, it's not really a hazard; though for some it is an annoyance or potentially wrecked Tahoe.

So do I, and occasionally the prickle of hot juice flying on my tongue. Reminds me of Pop Rocks candies. I wish atomizers did it all the time, but sadly they don't.

Listen to it yourself on your own hardware; it will sound different on different hardware; but the important thing is if you get used to the sound of it when working right, the sound will help you figure out when something is wrong.

if its not crackling or popping, its probably not firing...
After i do a build, i check to see if it crackles =)
mostly with drippers i check to hear the crackling lol

Hmmm, mine has a gurgling sound and then some juice came out. I just clean it and it's fine again.
