Hi,

Recently started with my first e-cig (Titan 510) and am mildly concerned at the noise it makes.

When in use I tend to get a snapping/ popping noise from the atty. Is this considered normal? I was wondering if perhaps I was overfilling my cart, or even under filling?

The vapour production is fine, as is TH and I'm not getting any burnt taste. That said, it does tend to leak a little from the cart/ atty connection even when using a new cart with only 2-3 drops of liquid.

Have tried the spring mod that I saw in the tips forum on a couple of carts (superb mod-ty) and that has helped the leaking and greatly increased the vapour, however the snapping noise remains.

So am I worrying about nothing, or just doing it wrong?

Cheers.

@ MistressNomad: Ah, Thank you :) That would make sense. The noise doesn't bother me, just wanted to make sure it wasn't something I was doing.

@ suci: I did get a gurgling noise off one cart that I filled a little too much, however this was a definite "popping" noise. (similar to an electrical short/ static discharge kind of sound). But ty :)

In my experience all atomizers / cartomizers make a hissing and snapping noise , I'd say as long as it's tasting ok I wouldn't worry I've never had anything bad happen because of the noises . I guess it could also be the type of juice maybe someone else would know if that could be the case . I just took a drag off my PV and it was making a hissing I am pretty sure it's normal . Hope that helps
