Why doesn't AVE at least supply their autorized resellers to push ther juices?

I'm really a big fan of AVE's BB & GJ and will continue to buy their juices WHEN POSSIBLE, and I do know the challenges that small businesses face when overwhemed with a huge demand, however, I can't stop wondering why AVE is not pushing enough supply towards their authorized resellers during the next few weeks of their closing; Ben has mentioned earlier that they've received BB and GJ supplies are in, and they were ready to take orders, so why not route some BB & GJ to their resellers (whom I'm sure have some sort of payment/credit terms with) to get some juice through to the market.
They should sell as much as they can while it's hot and legal.

Good point. And if they don't, they better have a huge huge supply of juice ready when they reopen since they are going to be closed for weeks...and if they don't, well that's just dumb then.

From my understanding, what makes a lot of these very popular juices difficult to make to satisfy demand is the availability of the flavors they use. That being said, even though they will be closed for a few weeks I am sure their flavoring suppliers will continue production, which should hopefully translate into large stocks of the popular juices by the time they reopen.

It seems as if recently the biggest problems were relating to the website and payment platform rather than availability of the product. As a person with some web design and programming experience, it is promising to see them close the store to completely redesign the site. Patching bugs and flaws in a website on the fly is usually done to correct small issues, but it seems that a redesign is necessary in order for the site to keep up with volume without major errors.

I am excited to see what the finished product looks like, and I am happy to see ave taking a big step towards the future of their company.

Sometimes I think that this is nothing more than a sales tactic used by AVE to boost sales and encourage bulk purchases, and it's working like a charm, as I will be buying a year's supply of BB whenever I get the chance, but that's just me (a BB junkie).
AVE has 2 authorized resellers that I know of (Clouds of Vapor & SmokTek), yet they rarely have BB or GJ available; wouldn't the smart/logical thing to do is to utilize those resellers to get some juice through to their loyal customers while AVE resolves there technical difficulties during the next few weeks..
I've never seen such issues happen to other popular e-juice vendors and they do even have resellers to help them out.

IMO Christy and Ben are probably getting burned out making juice 24/7. If they can find an excuse to close for a couple weeks (such as a web site redesign) they would be well served by taking a vacation to enjoy life. I can't say I blame them.

You could argue that they should ramp up their business, hire employees, expand their production facility and supplies. I have personally looked into going into some type of vape business here in California and it is a scary proposition. With all the ongoing legislation related to ecigarettes it is difficult to make the decision to invest in growing your business. Current bill/s in circulation propose to apply all the laws relating to tobacco sales to ecigarette sales. This would mean that most CA based online vaping businesses would close. IMHO they are doing the fiscally responsible thing by not expanding for the time being.

Just my $.02.

Last time I checked Smoktek website to buy some AVE juice I found this message posted on their site:

"Update: 3/18/2013 - We have no idea what's going on over at Alien Visions. No bulk stock has been available in months and they have not responded to our numerous requests.."

So, if AVE's site is down and they're not selling any juice to anyone (including their authorized resellers), that can only mean one of two things, either they're just not interested in making money or this is just a tactical sales stunt to ignite demand and go for the kill; and IMO I don't think that anyone who has such a hot product wouldn't milk it to the last drop.

The joint was compromised people. They've got to ensure everything is locked down and legit for us to start ordering again. Obviously they care enough about us, the consumers, to do what they are doing even though we're all hurting for their juice. They are losing a LOT of money everyday being closed. I don't think they need to ploy to have more "bulk orders".

They do not need to ignite demand. They do need to make sure the next time you order, a week later $600 doesn't go missing on your credit card - which did happen to many people.
