So I know everyone is different but I'm on the fence about something and was hoping you could help me in my decision.

So, I have the VTR currently and love it. I recently bought the ipv2, that should be here Monday, because I wanted a device I could drip with and use tanks. Instead of having a mech mod and a VW/VV mod, I figured the ipv2 would allow me to sell my VTR and just use the ipv2 for whatever I wanted to vape.

So now that I'm thinking of it, I love my VTR and it's been awesome, and I would love to keep it. But.... Why keep it when the ipv2 can do both and much more than the VTR? I know some people like to collect but doesn't it just generally turn out to using your favorite device and let the other ones sit there? Why not get the money for my VTR and use it for something else. Do I make sense? What do you think?

I just don't see the point, in my certain situation, to have a second device when my new device can do it all, why use the VTR when I have the ipv2 now?

This little bit is my concern - 3 days vapeless if your one device breaks. Or supposing you do as i do and you want to run different setups. I can do that easily on multiple devices. You either have to rebuild something or mess with it.

Laziness and a backup device ;)

PVs, made in China, are not the most reliable of devices. A back-up is a better alternative, compared with running out and buying a pack of cigarettes when your only device breaks down.

Understandable . The good thing is the ipv2 has a 12 month warranty. I don't smoke cigarettes and really on vape on the weekends, for fun. I just got into this hobby for fun, I didn't smoke cigarettes , so living without a device is no biggie for me.

Haha. I would just buy another then.....

And what if it breaks at a time that you can't just pop out the door and buy another one?

I have two of the very same device (Satin Silver Provari) because I'd be in a heap of turmoil if I broke one and didn't have a backup. But that's me. You should do what makes you most comfortable.

Understand but as my previous posts says, I only vape on the weekends, for fun. So having no device doesn't do anything negative for me. You might have overlooked it, but thanks for the reply, I completely understand.

Rule #1 always have a backup. And a backup for your backup.

In the event you have difficulty seeing Rule #1 being valid, remember back to when you smoked. Each pack of cigs came with 19 back ups and when you lost your lighter or matches, you freaked out and prayed you'd find one some where tucked in your car or couch.

But since you only vape on weekends and for fun, then you don't need two like the rest of us.
