You need backups. Keep what you get and get what you want as you save money not buying cigarettes.

Yes exactly! In my case it's dip, but it's just as much as cigs I'm assuming. Around 5-6 bucks a day probably? Log (5 cans) = 25 dollars, I dip about 1 1/4 or more cans a day.

That's a very good point, once I'm off for good I'll keep that in my mind.

I love how everyone here is so nice and welcoming to newbies trying to better themselves, I never thought there would be such a community built around quitting cigs with vaping but obviously I was wrong. All that I've learned has helped me so much, I can't thank y'all enough.

The heads would just be the coils right? I did not get any extras :(

Yes that is the replaceable atomizer head; the coil is inside. The liquid wets the wick and the coil gets hot and vaporises the liquid on the wick.

Ok I see a lot for cheap on fast tech

$9.48 KWX10 Protank / Mini Protank / KWX6 Atomizer Coil Heads (10-Pack) 10-pack - silver / 2.5

The ones on eciggity are 2 bucks a pop... What do you think?

Fasttech (also known as slowtech in these parts) is in China. You get direct from China so it's cheaper, but it's going to take maybe a couple weeks (at least).
Spend $10 locally and have some on hand.

I got a total of about 25-30; 10 of which are still in original box while I recycle through the others.

Alright will do. The mini protank 2 does come with an extra one right? Just in case they don't arrive before the original burns out

You might want to start calculating your vape budget; whatever you used to spend on cigs per month, budget HALF of that per month towards vape gear; in about a year's time, you should be down to maybe 10% per month what you used to spend; unless of course you get a virus known as shiniitis which you catch from reading this forum :)

Depending where you buy they might just come with 1 head inside or you might get a box with the tank, and 2 coils;
The coils don't burn out unless you over power them (only happened to me once on my first attempt at dryburning).
They usually fist start to leak and flood the coil, and eventually depending on the eliquids you vape the coil gets gunked up with stuff and needs cleaning.

That's a good idea! Thanks for that help and useful forum. Haha I could see how easy it would be to blow cig/dip budget on vape gear it's too easy I want it all haha

Do a search on youtube for dry burning and cleaning the coils and you'll see how to take care of them and get more life out of them. Glad to see you're diving in head first. I wish I would've started with something like the MVP2 instead of the crappy ego-c kit I started with. It DID get me off the cigarettes though so for that I am thankful.

Ah well that's good at least. Yes, this site has made me dive in head first and I've been nothing but happy so far.

Thanks for that help with the coils and dry burning. I will definitely do that!

For dry burning, I've found 3 watts gets my coils red without risk of frying the coil

very first coil I tryied to dry burn I fried it.

Ah thank you for that. I hope I don't burn mine on my first try as my replacements will take a few days to get here.
