I get scared easy and even though i want a reomizer i worry when i read these words everytime i go to see it "This is a rebuidable atomizer it is for advanced users only". I am not advanced user and don't know how to be one :(

I do like atomizers but they really go through juice quicker than a carto. At least for me and another thing is how hot they get. I read how everyone says it is so easy and i have watched the vid so many times. It looks easy enough but i don't understand how to test them because i don't like numbers and ohms are hard to figure out. I want mine to vape at 2.0 like the ones i buy that are already made.

What really worries me is maybe i would melt my button on top. Or melt everything, eeek

Oh well just wondering if i should get one next month or not. How do i become a advanced user

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
It is really quite simple once you get into it the reomizer is the best bet if your worried about a short as it has the ceramic base so wont short on the base that being said I have not had a short on any of my RBA's all you have to do is be sure the coils cant touch the sides of the cap and be sure they arent touching the bottom (which doesnt matter with the reomizer) then you just need to play a little to find your sweet spot what size of coils and how many wraps you like . Good luck if and when you do :)

Yes, get one. We'll turn you into advanced user in no time. Order an extra spring for your Reo when you order the atty. On the off chance that you mess something up the worse case is the spring will collapse. Do you have a mod or meter that reads resistance?

All I have is this DSC_0603__68968.1345058455.1280.1280.jpg

I use it to check my battery level, it has a hole on the top for checking something else but i don't know how to use that part...

More2, I know I felt just like you before I took the plunge. As a matter of fact, I think, from reading most of the posts from new RBAerz, everyone feels that way. I think that once you try it, and realize how elementary and intuitive it is, you will kick yourself for not jumping in sooner. With great RBAs like the RM2, we have it easy. And we're all glad to assist if you ever get nervous or not getting the results you want.

Just keep it simple in your initial builds, either Like Robs video (silica) or like my tutorial (cotton) and it won't be long before you are diggin it so much that you'll be rocking "advanced" setups - if ya chose to. Those simple builds provide very satisfying results.

Sennie and I may be the poster children for success in the face of doubt and uncertainty :)

Have you seen that girls latest coils?
Oh and it doesn't get warm (the RM2) that's why I love it - very consistent vapes :)

Believe me you don't have to be an advanced user to build a coil. I've been vaping for nearly four years and do not consider myself an "Advance User". To me the Reomizer2 is the most user friendly RBA on the market. There are absolutely no modifications necessary. Because the posts are set wide apart and the base is ceramic it is the easiest RBA on which to mount a coil.

You are absolutely missing out on the finest vape in the world of E-cigs.

That's a volt meter you've got there. You can screw your atty on top to see the voltage under load. You won't be able to check resistance with it though. You don't really need a meter but you need safe chem batts and extra spring or two. If you start conservative with too many wraps and then work your way down to find ideal vape you'll be fine. You will get to where you want to be before getting near the danger zone. If you are going really low resistance or dual/quad coils a meter is pretty much a must. With the micro coils, its easy to get consistent results because the wraps are the same size and you only need to change the number of them. It seems a lot more complicated than it is.

More2...I'm self admittedly a ..........and I've been making coils for about a year. I mess up a lot, but that's me, not the rebuildables.
And I'm still nowhere near "advanced"! But I haven't shorted or melted anything.
Believe me when I say they're very easy to do and if you don't like the end result just jump on in here or SXD's thread or the modmasters extremely simple coil building video. Once you make yourself an even halfway decent setup, you'll realize the amazing difference from atties/cartos and you'll never look back!
I'm old, clumsy and arthritic and I can do it, so there's NO doubt in my mind that you can, too!
And they're perfect for lazy old broads, i.e., you don't have to squonk nearly as often as you have to hit the firing button for atties or even cartos.
And just wait till you actually taste the flavor of your juice...nirvana!!!

Good call, more2 ;)

I don't understand how someone could melt the button on one of these mods unless you actually hard short your mod, which is very easy to avoid.

I strongly suspect that the "last person I read about melting his button" was double stacking flat top 18350's and just didn't own up to it.

I too like most others was apprehensive about rba's at first. It is just a matter of jumping in there and getting your feet wet. You'll learn and get better and better with just a little practice. Coil and wick (especially cotton) are cheap so it isn't expensive when you mess up something. However, having said that, to be safe please ask tons of questions. There are lots of folks here to help you and often times you can get help here in real time while you are trying your hand at building. It's a journey...embrace and enjoy it.

The only thing to fear is fear itself! You can do it! I remember just a few days ago that my 1.5 attys had started to go bad and that I ordered the wrong size on some things. I had no choice but to use the RM2. I quickly posted some questions online and had immediate support! This site is the best! Just take your time and ask questions. I'm by no mean an expert. I simply made a coil. The difference in vapor flavor was immediate. I got to tell you something. I initially thought that the REO was the greatest invention in regards to e-cigs. I think I may be wrong. I think it's the RM2! It made that much of a difference for me. So now, the REO is the second greatest invention! Don't wait until next month if you don't have to; buy it tonight! I am so thrilled about the RM2 that in the future every time I order a REO, I plan on ordering a RM2. In regards to difficulty; I don't think it is very difficult. Now in all fairness, I did have another unit to check the OHMs on, but since it was a REO VV, I figured it would fire if it was bad anyway.
In regards to cost, ask me about cost. I've got about 150.00 dollars worth of tanks/clearomizers/cartomizers and other crap sitting in a shoe box! Just think about; for less than 45.00 dollars you are going to get a device that only require you to change out wire and cotton (my choice) for the life of the unit, but don't forget to order extra screws when you purchase it. My Protank cost me 19.00 dollars when I got it. You can't change the drip tip, it is overly airy, it has a metallic taste with certain juices and I don't even know if I have a authentic purchase. The metal corrupts the taste of my acidic juices.
I'm sorry for rambling on about the RM2, but it's something I truly believe in. Did I mention it is silent? It is so silent that I can vape right next to my wife while she is sleeping and she hears nothing. Have you ever tried that with a tank/carto or atty?

As a brand new user myself..(I think I've had mine..2 weeks now? Maybe) I was worried about that too! I'm not an ADVANCED anything. (except perhaps I was an advanced smoker, at 2-3 packs a day...)

But I jumped in because these wonderful people will help us! And I'm vaping off my own coil on my RM2, and it's wonderful♥ AND if I have any questions...here I come, and here I will get answers♥♥

Also though, have some cotton balls handy in case you find the silica frustrating in its splittiness. (new word I made up...lol) I did...and super X's cotton ball trick just plain works... :)

And order a couple lengths of wire so if you make mistakes you can just figure oh well, here's more to practice with, no biggie! :D That really took the pressure off for me :)
