I work in a very busy office. I was one of only a few non-smokers. The company makes the smokers go outside to smoke, but they are allowed to go out for 15 minutes every two hours. So guess who got stuck pulling my own work and that of my smoking co-workers.
As a non- smoker I get one 15 minute break for the whole day. Well enough of this nonsense. I startd to vap.

I use zero nicotine and my cigerette looks like theirs. I enjoy the break from the office and the smooth flavors. I like chocolate mint as my current flavor.

Anyone else stuck in the office, while co-workers take their smoke break. This is really a no brainer..

My 18 year old daughter is a non-smoker. However, her older brother smokes, as do several of her friends.

She took an active interest in my quitting smoking via e-cigarettes, and would often ask to sample new flavors when I receive them. We enjoy judging if we like the new flavors between the two of us.

She asked for her own mod for her birthday, to use zero-nicotine flavored e-liquids because she wanted something to use when her friends smoked.

I reasoned that giving her her own vaping setup would be a step in the right direction if it might steer her away from taking up smoking. I got her a pink Altsmoke BB, a few replaceable rechargeable batteries, a charger, a couple of Vivi Nova tanks and a metal cartotank (for the cinnamon juice she wanted), and some zero-nicotine flavored e-liquid.

A few of her friends had seen and sampled my mods, and went online and found their own eGo setups on their own. They are now vaping instead of smoking.

I see this as nothing but a WIN - WIN. :thumb:

I'm a non-smoker but want to give it a try. That's up to 3 breaks and paid. I'd do it. The only thing that would concern me is the 2nd hand smoke and the smell on my cloths.

Well I vap outside in the fresh air. So the real smokers 2nd hand smoke doesn't get all over me. There are a few that have tried and rolled over to vaping. It' is cheaper in the long run. Depends on the location and the sales tax tho.

Not sure if that is smart or just stupid ! and 15 min for one day no way that is not even allowed ....

I think management (who works in the another state) is stupid for allowing smokers to walk out and take breaks and leave the non-smokers working. But I have been there too long to raise hell and since I started vaping - problem solved.

Yes we work 8am to 5pm take a unpaid hour lunch. Non-Smokers Allowed ONE ( the 15 min break in the morning or afternoon. Smokers get a 15 minute break every 2 hours. ( they are expected to smoke one quick one and get back to work - but it takes 15 mins to get outside away from the building and smoke and walk back) Thats the way it has always been since the place opened up.

Umm, why did you not either simply join your fellow employees or just take mental break at your station? Why bother with the expense?

In any event, enjoy your new vaping adventure.

- Andy . . . Don't let the Ciggieman getcha . . . Vape'em.

Simple Non-Smokers get a 15 minute - walking outside and not smoking is cheating the time clock (Per the location boss -who is a heavy smoker) So my choice was to keep working or learn to smoke or vap. Vaping won and I do enjoy it.

You could try to come up with some other kind of socially unacceptable behaviour to do for 15 minutes, several times a day.

.

LOL Like pulling out my handgun and cleaning it LOL Yes I have a CCW permit.. But I am sure some of the non NRA people would consider that " socially unacceptable behaviour "

I can understand you not wanting to make waves its much too easy to get fired now days. But somebody needs to let your management know that Federal Law requires that all employees get a 15min. paid break every two hours or clock out for a minnimum of a half hour for lunch. This was a law made a long time ago when the Government actually was "for the people"

I can sympathize with you however because that is kind of how i started smoking. 28 years ago i was in basic training (Army) and the Drill Seargent would say "smokem if you got em if not keep on working" needless to say it didnt take long to pick up the habit. The ....... did it on purpose to get us smoking so he could bum smokes from us i dont think he ever paid for a cig. He would actually bum one from you then take out his pack and put the one you just gave him into it then go bum one from someone else.

That sounds like a pretty stupid company policy. Maybe someday they'll decide to let you vape at your desk so they can take back your "extra" break.

Nothing springs to mind at the moment.
