Why is 1ohm kayfun much hotter than 0.4ohm dripper?

I'm just curious why every tank I build around 1 ohm is way too hot for me (kfl+ v2, hcig aqua, aga-t2), and drippers around 0.4 are still fine.
Is it the slow juice flow? tight air flow? combination of the two? just the build design of these tanks (closed/tight chamber)?

I am on the same boat, I was using my RDA at .5 ohms and now my KFL+ clone double coil at 1.5 ohm , and I am getting hotter vaper which I really like.

For sure it is the tighter air flow and the close chamber.

Really like the flavor on something that I do not have to be dripping constantly.

All of the above... I use two of my (formerly leaky Kfuns) in RDA mode with 0.8Ω coils and they're about as hot (cool?) as the others in RBA mode with 1.4 coils, all other things equal.

Make sure your coil isn't touching the airhole. I've ran into this in the past and couldn't figure out why the vape on a 1.3 ohm coil was so hot. If your coil is touching the airhole it won't necessarily short out. It will heat the airhole extremely hot and give you an extremely hot vape.

I think it was the airflow and the chamber size, I got the Fogger V4 and I can enjoy a nicely warm (not too hot) vape even at 0.4 ohm (I anyway rebuilt it again a 1ohm just because I'm not looking for huge clouds and get plenty of nicotine with a tank).
