That's not a very friendly thing to say.You sound like may be having anger management issues. Sit back, have a cup of coffee, and you can find the answers on youtube...
Take care, friend....
Well summarised - you beat me to it Mick!I've asked myself the same question about what differentiates a pod from a non-pod. Don't care much though, I'm happy with my gear which I'm pretty sure is 100% pod-free.
I googled TPD. It's the current European vaping regs.
The Main TPD Vaping Rules
At a glance, though, these are the main TPD vaping rules you should be aware of:
● E-cigarette tanks are restricted to a capacity of no more than 2ml.
● Eliquid containing nicotine is restricted to a maximum container size of 10ml.
● Eliquids are restricted to a maximum nicotine strength of 20mg/ml.
● Nicotine-containing products, and their packaging, is to be child-proof and tamper-evident.
● Certain ingredients are banned, including colourings, caffeine, and taurine
● All e cigarette products are subject to labelling requirements and warnings (e.g. “This product contains nicotine which is a highly addictive substance.”)
● All e-cigarette products and eliquids are to be approved by the MHRA before they can be sold.
As we’ve noted, there is of course greater legislative depth to TPD, but this is really the core, need-to-know info that will affect your day-to-day experience as an ecigarette and vaping consumer.
I'd go with you there - nearly 10 years ago I started off with plastic atties with silica wicks on Egos - the threads melted and the things tasted what you can only call "plasticy".For myself pod means plastic therefore lighter weight. Personally I prefer tanks with glass. I also prefer the weightier handfeel glass offers.
I remember the ego stuff. Forget what the tanks were called but they cracked pretty fast. The cracks spread up the plastic like a spider web and they leaked. There were some juices that cracked the plastic worse than others.I'd go with you there - nearly 10 years ago I started off with plastic atties with silica wicks on Egos - the threads melted and the things tasted what you can only call "plasticy".
The first decent kit I ever got was an iStick 30w with a Nautilus Mini which featured Pyrex glass , - and the difference was like night and day. The day I got that outfit was the day I joined ECF - kinda says ir all, really.
I have tried Pods since and really never could take to them - for me it's glass or nothing.
A lot of love for those egos...they started my vaping journey.I remember the ego stuff. Forget what the tanks were called but they cracked pretty fast. The cracks spread up the plastic like a spider web and they leaked. There were some juices that cracked the plastic worse than others.
My KFL's have plastic viewing sections and I never noticed a bad taste. They seem to last forever. Vaguely remember discussion of different types of plastic. There was one juice I used that caused the plastic sections to go bad though, The screw parts cracked off from the main part of the window. Might have been rhubarb.
Yeah, me too. But didn't get all the way off the smokes until I moved up to those new high tech Pro Tanks and a 20W mod.A lot of love for those egos...they started my vaping journey.
