The various test results confirm this is the case. It is very safe relative to cigarettes, and also safe in absolute terms on all measurements we have applied. heres a more direct link to the world health organization

WHO | Marketers of electronic cigarettes should halt unproved therapy claims

"WHO does not discount the possibility that the electronic cigarette could be useful as a smoking cessation aid. The only way to know is to test"

and that’s what ruyan did. And the results are in and there good. But i do see where your coming from about individuals having to do their own testing. What I would personally like to see is a standardized FDA regulated e-juice that is compatible with different company’s e-cigs. Assuring safety to the public. Now, remember…were all on the same side here….we believe in this product and so far nothing bad has been proved against it, only good. But as for cigarettes, they have been proved deadly for the last 50 + years.

One potential problem would be say ok, the juice is now fda approved, but at what temperatrue. One deivce cooks at say 350 degrees, but another is say 400. Well at 350 its ok, but at 400 the PG causes instant death.(ok exagerated just using as an example). In order to fda approve the juice, the devices individually would need to be approved, or fall with certain specifications.

You're right NoBrainer, the only way to prove anything with credibility is to have scientifically rigorous tests ... lots of them ... for each product, formula and ingredient.

Since we're quoting WHO, how about this one "... These products have proliferated with a broad range of claims and in a vacuum of information to guide regulators, policy-makers, and consumers. As a result, the WHO TFI, as Secretariat of the WHO Study Group on Tobacco Product Regulation, felt it necessary to charge the Study Group to deliberate on this public health concern..."

Given the 'public health concern' of untested and unregulated products, how do you justify selling them as safe to president Obama?

What will you do if he tries your untested product and gets lung disease?

EDIT
I've not seen research results that prove NRT effectiveness from Ruyan, they haven't done that study yet have they?

I agree Terraphon.

Selling a product as 'safe' that hasn't been scientifically proven could be murder.

This is correct (at least here in the U.S.). For a person / company to brand a device as "safe", they're taking on a lot of liability. Misleading someone into thinking they're doing something harmless when you have no proof of said claim is grounds for a wrongful death suit, at the very least.

People have to be careful what they claim.

The tobacco companies learned that a while ago when they started losing lawsuits. They go out of their way to say that smoking is dangerous now.

Never mind 'safe' esmoking, maybe in a few years dangers will be discovered in the way they were with tobacco ... through deaths and health disasters.

If a commercial claim is made then the courts will hold the person making them responsible, especially when they make the claim to make money.

Nope...doesnt bother me.....I actually found it very funny....I liked the one where its near the rover controls better :pervy:

My question wasn't directed at you, Jon, nor was intended to bother you. It's simply a heads up to the other members as to your identity.
Personally I feel you had your 15 minutes.

You've clearly demonstrated your intentions to seek your fortune at all costs. The choice between money and other people's freedoms is indeed a "no brainer" to you.

As much as I believe in these devices, I fear you, or someone like you, will put a quick end to them because your pursuit of the almighty dollar blinds you to all reason or intelligent discussion.

It's a simple equation... you choose profit over people, and I hate that.

Just my 2 cents... I apologize if this makes anyone uncomfortable, but I've had enough of this guy. End of rant.
