How do I become a "Verified Member"?

for anyone interested, I searched the faq and forum for how to become a verified member and couldn't find any info, maybe i did it wrong, or maybe it's not easy to find?

then I realised the orange Verified Member is a link with the details.

and I am now a verified member. cheers to the peeps who verified me.

There are multiple ways to become verified. Just click on the orange verified member text under peoples names. It will bring you directly to the FAQ where you can find links where you can apply to become verified. You have to request it and depending on the way you choose depends on how long it can take. It's set up to keep down on the spam posts that are prevalent in any large forum site such as this and also helps people trust that you aren't a scam bot if you use the classifieds sections.
