I heard of only 2 companies promoting on radio, 1 really sucked, luckily sent back before charged. IMO

Why don't one of the more reputable companies advertise on radio or espcially TV to get the word out. If they have been in the states for 2 years now and i just caught wind of it luckily. only vaping for a week and when I'm at the casino, mall, store, bowling ect.. everyone looks in awe, points, only had 2 actually ask me "What the Fruit?"

If i was a legit company i would be all over the tele. are they affraid of big tobacco brother, government, or what?

Glad I did finally get on the vaping board. starting to get senses back and feeling great.

Keep vaping

Advertising is expensive...

Most of these vendors I have dealt with do it not for making a BUNCH of money with OUTRAGEOUS prices, but for the Joy(e), and to help others whilst just making a little bit.

This also keeps people coming back (for the good prices), and spreading the word on them "Internets".

(If I can, may I mention another plug for "Cignot" and "vapor4life", as these are people that I have referred MANY people to and have purchased from MANY times. V4L has not the best prices, but the service is that of ninjas, just like Cignot in my experiences with both.)

Beats me?

I hear commercials on the radio all the time for an e-cig called "Smoke Assist" - which seems to be one of those crappy cigalikes that I wish I stayed away from. IT comes with a free trial and just sounds like a complete scam on the radio. I also see NJOY cigs sold at gas stations around here.

Your post says it all.

Those crappy cigalikes are expensive right?
So they are selling crappy product for high price = they have more money and can afford the advertising.

And that is fine, If that's what it takes to get some advertisinge.
If half the people who try those ones, but then do research and get a good one later, then it was worth it.

There's also a high percentage of people (like me) who saw the commercial for a crappy one, but did a little research and got a decent one instead.

I've heard radio ads in my area for smoking everywhere. I also saw a lot of "reviews" that were very obviously advertisements before I found my way here. It seems like most of these places are big companies, just little mom & pops, so typical advertising is probably just too expensive. Anyway, I'd much rather hear what people have to say than see a bunch of ads anyway - it was hard enough trying to decide which one to buy :)

Couldn't have been said better 86!

Advertising would, by necessity, drive prices up. Its just business and simple math. As would rent in a mall. They could never compete, pricewise, with the internet vendors. The higher the overhead, the higher the prices...simple math.

Back in the day (old people like me like to use that phrase) when I was a controller for a large ad agency, a 30 second radio spot...depending on the station's rating...typically ran from 5k/mo and up. TV is much, much higher. That's a lot of pv's they need to sell just to make that nut. Mall rent is the same.

At a 100% markup (typical retail markup), a $150 pv kit for example would yield a gross profit of $75. That's a lot of inventory to move to make that one expense.

Ok, enough of that, sorry! (retired but sometimes hard to take my cpa hat off. lol)

As for your plugs for Cignot and V4L, DITTO. Just simply awesome people to deal with.
