Why no attys with no wick or bridge?

I debridged and dewicked my first atty today and its terrific. I don't think anyone makes attys without the cridge and wick. There seem to be plenty of drippers and bottom feed users so I am curious as to why no one makes an atty without the bridge and wick. I would think it would be less expensive to make and I would think there would be a market large enough to support this type of atty.

I have an order for those very ones from GH that I've been waiting on. Tonight I did a couple myself and tried them for the first time in my other bf and it was night and day difference in the taste of the juices. I'll never use another atty w/out dw'ing and db'ing it first!

i would suggest leaving the bridge and just take the wick some attys dont last well after the bridge is taken and the bridge alone without the wick causes no problems

The Bridge is needed in an Atty the way I see it the Bridge has it's job, removing the wick is OK but I say leave the Bridge, as for the GH Atty's I say they are of a lower end QC Atty and not quality like an Iken or Cisco as well.!

Because they know it sounds cool. And they know that 97% of the people are just going to chuck it and put a new one on.
I'm sure there is something ridiculus you have to do just like all warranties !!
You probably have to send the bad once back to China or something to prove it was bad, then they argue it came from your order 7 months ago not your order 2 months ago.

Warranties Suck ........ Don't even get me going on Extended Warranties ......

Sometimes you don't think something is broke until you figure out how to make it work better.
Its what America is built upon ... but we have lost it along the way.

Back on topic:

I have found no advantage if (Big if) ......

a) your using a quality atty to begin with
b) you use/clean them properly (don't burn the wick)

IMO it improves flavor plus no wick to burn its just MO

Cisco attys, like most attys are greatly improved by removing the wick and eliminating the possibility of it making too much contact with the coil, resulting in a constant burnt taste. This is even more true on bottom feeding mods. The only problem is that it can be very difficult to remove the entirety of the wick without removing the bridge. I wont even touch a 306 without removing at least the wick and I usually just take off the bridge while I'm there. Please note that more squonking is required after removal, but flavor is significantly improved. These have been my findings.

Ditto. Wick and bridge hold the juice so much less squonking. I'm really spoiled by the LR 801. Much more TH than 306 and 510. I debridged a 6 mo old, heavily used 3 ohm 801 that was on its way out (from when DH used only 801 pen style). Didn't like the results.

Only time I use a debridged is to test a bunch of juice flavors in a row.

It does help a bit to dw/db (for dripping) but uses so much more juice and reduces life of the coil. Once in a while I get a brand new atty that tastes burnt, those get dewicked. Removing the bridge serves no purpose on a bottom feeder, none, zero, zip, nada.
