Okay, here's my thoughts on your cigarettes color. I debated with myself for a while if I should get a black one or a white one. I wanted the white one, so that I wouldn't stand out too much while hitting, but I thought the black one was cooler looking.

As you most likely have already guessed, I ended up going with a white one with a red LED. Granted it looked great right out of the package. And sure, it's less conspicuous in public. But damn that thing gets dirty easily. The batt and atty seem to collect black smuges left and right. I'm always wiping the thing down. And the Carts are even worse. I have to scrub them down with tooth brush every other day to keep them looking their best.

So, If I were you, I'd suggest a color other than white for your starter kit. I'll just have to wait until next order to get me a black one.

I've got the 510. Granted I don't have decent carry solution at the moment, I have to wait til I get paid again to get a PCC. But I've been keeping my parts in plastic baggy and carrying that around in an old cigarette pack.

Also, I'm sure a lot of it come from my hands, since I work in a dusty enviroment and don't wash my hands every time I take a puff.

I've been using a set of white 510s for a month or so and they haven't really gotten dirty. I keep them in my pocket, on the car seat, sitting on the table...they get dropped on the floor, on pavement and gravel, in dirt and grass...nothing. The worst I get is pocket lint in the mouthpiece hole and the seam between cart and atty.
