Why should I get a VK?

I say just read up and make your choice. You are never contracted to one vendor when you order from another. Honestly if you buy a Kr808D-1 from elsewhere, and you buy one from Steve for comparison, you will still come out cheaper than most of us did when bought all the other models. No matter the vendor, this device is the winner. That said, read the reviews, determine what is important to you, and chose one - or both! As Jen likes to say, whatever get's you off the analogs is a good choice indeed.

I'm not sure why we have to prove to anyone that we are completely happy with the product and level of service we get from V4L. You know as well as I do that if somebody *thinks* something is better, then it is (to that person), its very subjective.

If another vendor makes you happier, by all means, go troll their subforum instead.

And as far as the whole "convince me" thing, there are plenty of threads in this subforum to be convinced, this was a blatant attempt to cause some drama (i guess it worked, good job).

Yes, the VK is a KR808 and therefore the V4L cartos will work on your KR808, and visa versa.

Well the OP was talking about the VK and KR808D-1 over another
supplier and the claims of V4L improvements were questioned i.e. cart
improvements and battery improvements...
So now it isn't a battery only or a cart only thread
and to answer your question about the batteries I can say NO V4L isn't the first one to COME UP with the manual battery and the xtra long battery
model...china is....NOW I can't make any claims as to who was the first to offer it....V4L maybe the first to advertise these to resell...but really does first qualify
as an improvement.. because maybe V4L was the first to have that particular shipment released from customs.

So this really all started, not to say that VK is bad nor to question the claim of his customer service, but to have claims of "improvements" backed with
evidence. I am saying either do more research or don't make such concrete
claims....

I got IGNORED in previous threads asking the difference. I didn't want to buy "AN IMPROVEMENT" if there wasn't one!
I did as you asked JENJEN (I really love ya but...) and PM'd Steve and said I
wanted to buy but wanted to know what the improvements were and how the carts are different.. and a few other?'s
Guess what?? NO REPLY! What SHOULD that say to me??

And do NOT tell me that (using as an example) Yeti ar anyone else can get 510 carts made better from one supplier to the next and "yeti" can ask for
improvements and have them made specifically for them..(and no one else)
that is BS!
Then go manufacturer one yourself and call it "the chuck" "the Silver
Bullet..etc!
I am glad the other Vendor mentioned in the thread waited because apparently there are issues with the new cart flavors, manual battery and extra long.. he waited and tested and he has them NOW after they were getting stuck..and after a bad batch he tested and now has them on order (carts).. so maybe he WAS the one to make the improvements?? please.. there were obviously mistakes by vendor and because Steve ordered first he found out first.

The other Vendor just wont have to send anything back to customers or have to send shipments back to vendor. Steve are all the "new improved with issues" still for sale? When the other vendor had 5 complaints (about another cart) he pulled his ENTIRE STOCK! (not worried about losing sales) HE DID the right thing!
Look at thread.. I am a bit concerned.. I would be VERY concerned!!

better.. they are from the SAME factory and filled by the SAME people.
And when he says look at the cart date.. you can see if they were old.. in anther thread he stated it didn't matter because carts were filled and made at different times .. which is it?

So, the thrust of your argument in saying that VK has improved on
this original model is that Steve is a liar when he says he's done improvements on this product? Or what?

China made improvements! NOT Steve's China

China will not improve upon a thing if they are selling what they
already have just fine. It takes a vendor to send them specs on what they want to improve upon and they act accordingly. The vendor receives samples with the changes, approves it and only then the factory makes it and ships it to the vendor. Then China turns around and sells their customer's ideas to anyone else they feel like selling it to. This is how that works. Unless you are a huge company like Disney with worldwide trademark protection and China is afraid of you.

I had a battery go bad and Steve replaced it no questions asked...how many other vendors would do this based on trust. But not only did he replace my battery, he also threw in a manual pass through and a car charger free of charge. Can anyone tell me if any other vendors that treat their customers as well as Steve does? There are mounds of threads in this section of the forum from other satisfied customers that have had similar experiences.I HAVE ALL this plus some with another and he pulls BAD stock!!!Now as far as if one is better than the other....this is getting old real fast. YES IT IS!! Steve is not going to tell anyone what improvements he makes...would you if you were a vendor? The testimonials speak for themselves. I would not knock any other vendor....and perhaps the OP should have asked the same question in Drew's thread. As far as I am concerned I have a very good reason for sticking with V4L....customer service.

You will not be able to proof any proprietary changes one way or the other.
You've made your point. Even if they are exactly the same, there is more to
making a purchase than just the product alone...warranty, service, word of
mouth testimony ect.

VERY VERY OLD.. and if he wants it to stop he should STOP making claims of being better and improved than other KR808 vendors.

Well, Ducky, since the cartomizer is pretty much the whole thing with the Vapor King, it's worth recommending V4L for the variety of flavors and the availability of strengths thereof.

I plan to order cartomizers from some other sources to compare; I'll report back then.

Andy, in an effort to save you a few bucks, I'd recommend that you don't shop around. I did, and for EVERY FLAVOR I tried from another vendor (tried 5 other vendors), V4L was better. Full disclosure: I did not purchase from Nhaler.

Would I like to pay less than $13 a pack? yes. Am I willing to vape less flavor on shorter life carts to save 25 to 50 cents a cart? no.

I'm reading people continue to say ad nauseum that all KR808D's are the same, china will not make variations on the KR for one vendor, a product from V4L is exactly the same as one from Joe's KR808-D1 shack, etc. There's just one issue here for me, exactly the same means exactly the same, no differences, not even the V4L logo that so many people take issue with. This is a variation, and while I'm not saying that this sets it apart from the competition, it does disprove that the factory will not vary production for one vendor... unless Steve and Mark are painting them on there themselves, is that what's happening, guys?

I also take issue with a comment that I saw yesterday that anything in a 36mg strength is "old" and that's why V4L has it, yet he has brand new flavors (Lychee, Caramel, etc) in 36mg strength. So has he been sitting on the flavors for who knows how long just so he could wait to sell them when they were old?

I know that it may appear that we (V4L fans) are drinking the kool-aid, and I know that we're a bit more vocal than some other's customer bases. I'm also familiar with the placebo effect that says that even if there is no difference, if we believe that there is, it will work to get us off analogs. That is the endgame, right? RIGHT?

I appoligize if this answer is hijacking your thread but I would like you to at least look at the section I have for facts as they maybe useful in helping you make your decision.

NeedVapor as I said before, Steve is probably not ignoring you he is a very busy man trying to do a lot of work and his help has been incompacitated the last week or so due to medical reasons. Also, as I said before, If you want a direct answer to your question you should start your own thread not try to jump in on page 3 and then get mad Steve didn't see it and answer you. As far as the thread, I know you haven't because I checked your statistics which anyone can do if they want.
This is a related thread to what your talking about but it isn't YOUR thread so don't get mad if you don't get your answers! IF you don't get your answer right away please just keep bumping your own thread till your satisfied but have the kindness to be patient.

Pugzley what you say makes a lot of sense as well why should Steve share all his trade secrets on here for a product that, lets face it, is not currently backed by the FDA and that he doesn't have a US patent to protect against theft and resale of?

SO you guys want some FACTS? ( I only know about V4L so sorry if it is all about them)
1. People who are dishonest tend to believe others are dishonest, and treat others that way accordingly! This is a psychological FACT! If Steve was this type of person wouldn't he at least demand his product back before shipping new to just anyone who said my battery is broke? Or my carts taste funny or were duds?
2. No Other Company will replace like this! And most will not for cartomizers or juice at all! Check out their warranty.

4. The V4L has the highest number of people citeing good posts about the product vrs negative ones then any other kr808D-1 on this ECF forum site. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ ( look for yourself) current post of v4l is over 11000 and nhailer for example only has 5000 ( not to slam nhailer)
( just look down the left hand side). And Nhailer has been arround longer (so go figure).
( my own thought is IF this is the same product then people would be having the same experiance and they would be having the same reviews RIGHT???)

Anyone ever take into account that Steve has made mention that these are all handmade? What is to stop him from having his metals made in diecast molds and the electronics ordered with improvements from some other company, then the ones currently making the KR808D and Carts, and then having them put together himself to sell as a same yet better quality product even if they do all come from China and are all called KR808d because they share the same thread that allows for cart attachment and are of same general weight and size? IF he did have a company like so then wouldn’t they pay more attention to his specifications . make the corrections, and be more likely to keep his trade secrets in order to profit themselves? Hmmmm

So for anyone who doesn’t know for sure if it’s the same why don’t you buy both and check for yourself before you try to ruin someone’s reputation by saying he is a possible liar or outright that he is one. And trying to ruin his sales based on your OPINION!

And Like AZVagabond said even if a product is exactly the same where you buy it from isn’t just in the guts or the name of the product . Its also price, customer reviews, warranty, and your own previous experience.

The best advice I can give anyone is to make your OWN decision based on your own conclusions after YOU decide., and look at all the information that is Important to YOU!

Vapor4Life has kept me off of analogs for 3 1/2 months, I started with another brand/model and I would have surely gone back if I had not found the VaporKing.

Honestly I don't get the whole fanboy girl thingy, Or why anyone would do it.
Im on this forum because after smoking for 24 years I finnaly found something that gave me hope! now it could have been one of the others and I might have been just as vocal on their forums but it wasn't.
And after trying welbutrin, patches, gums, cold turkey, and whats that other new drug that caused depression? well that one too LOL and you know what they all did?
THey all reinforced my inabilty to to stop and made me dissaullsioned with myself!
I gave up , I was tired of failure, and I wasn't going to stop EVER! Even if I died!
Because I just didn't think I could. And now I have hope! somethign that has ben missing in my life for year or has flared up only to be queenched withthe results of making even hate myself for being so dang weak and controlled and the absolute worst thing was I knew I could do absolutely nothing about it! Nothing!
I came here to begin with to find a cheaper alternative to cigarettes not to actually stop! and I got a gift instead HOPE! And I met people who had been given the same gift
and had the same , worse or less problem then me but all of them had this beautiful shineing happy floaty MAYBE going on. And alot of people who had decressed analog usage or who had actually even quit. they didn't give me the HOPE the product DID! I wasn't home infront of my computer on this website> I got my package and tried it in a car on a trip to the market. and before I got to the market I got my HOPE! that well hell worse case scenerio i spend less on cigs best I might be abel to reduce smoking or OMG QUIT!
To this date I have accomplished 2 of those I have decreased analogs and I save over them! I spend ( even with shipping) less each week then I would on analogs!
So no matter what device you choose I hope you find the same and really thats ALL this about!

Funny I was going to make a post along the same lines.....you saved me the trouble..lol. Thanks. Point is no one has to be a fanboy/girl to receive the freebies...that part is simply completely out of the equation and always has been. cant say anything else but it works. V4l gives a lot of freebies (and no i am not talking about some cheapo tweezers) and when V4L has a sale they post it loud and clear, they wont hide it in a thread where only the fan are like another supplier ive tried b4 going V4L route. Vapor 4 life doesnt preach about a mod that was scheduled to have been released 2 months ago. Vapor for life doesnt try to hype up their product anymore than this other supplier. Vapor4life has a great easy to navigate website, you can get to what u want in 3 clicks or less. The supplier i went through b4's site is confusing and mucked with a couple flashy images of their unreleased product. Vapor 4 life doesnt edit posts, ive seen other suppliers do this on their sub-forum to mis lead and confuse their customers. Vapor4life promotes fun, has contests, and they just wanna see you smile and share with everyone.

In my opinion I think this other's fans are getting bored with their sub forum and think that they can demand the secret to what makes v4l's product such a success. I hope these people get the answer they are looking for. I am confused about one thing. How does NeedVapor know what factory these suppliers are getting their stuff? And how does Needvapor know that all cartomizers come from one manufacturer. Maybe NeedVapor should call this "same" factory and get their answer.
