Something pretty close in wattage (750 W):

Blowing big clouds, mostly. There's a local guy who has a 6 battery, 11.1V (2 sets of 3 cells in series, running in parallel) contest mod which he cranks up over 600W. Ask me, that's pretty stupid. But then, he doesn't vape it, it's only for show and contests. I'd be surprised if he fires it more than 4 or 5 times any day he has it out. *I* surely wouldn't want to :) In any event, I personally happen to think some of the wilder coil builds-- I like Claptons, myself-- really do enhance flavor and those wires really do need some more watts to heat up quickly. It's not necessary to get wild and crazy about it. I'm holding in my hand right now a Nemesis mod driven by a Sony VTC4, topped with a Fogger V6 wearing dual Claptons (32 over 28 Kanthal) at .4 ohms. It's only making about 45W, and draws about 10A, well within the safety margins. But it does take a half second or so to get hot enough to start making vapor on the first pull. In fact, it vapes its best doing 3 or 4 pulls in a row so the wires stay hot. the 2nd thru 4th puffs are outstanding, but the first is kinda anemic.

All i know is that with 100, 150 watts the draw is very short, as opposed to a long draw on a lot less watts. I suppose it depends on how you want to vape. Sometimes i cannot be bothered to take long draws so i'll crank up the watts real high and take real short draws. The results are the same. I think with any power setting if the user keeps their finger on the trigger for too long it burns the liquid. Usually i vape at 45-50 watts for maybe 3-4 seconds then release, any longer and the juice burns. It's just a case of knowing when to release the trigger and in the highest wattage range it's the exact same deal, so maybe a second, if that !.

So, the comment is true....

"I vape like I make love: big wattage, and last 1 second."

Ahh, now I see the point!
