Why the Adjustable Button Throw Is Great

I received some new CR2 batteries from Deal Extreme this week. When I put them into my Super-T, the atomizer started to fire before the adapter was fully screwed in. It turned out that the new CR2's are a tiny, tiny bit longer than the CR2's I had from a previous order. After simply removing one washer from the button assemble, all works fine again. The adjustable throw can correct for minor manufacturing variances. Kudos, forecedfuel50!!

I had the exact same thing happen yesterday. That's uncanny. On another note, I've said it a few times in a few posts: The Super-T1 is my hands down favorite now out of all my mods. No question. I've polished it mirror bright, then used 320 grit spun on the decorative sunken parts on the bottom near the button. It looks fantastic. Definitely something you can take in public.

I should also mention for those who don't know,that not only is the travel adjustable, so is the spring rate (how hard you have to depress the button for it to activate). It comes with .029 wall spring, but i also have a .026, .031 and a .035.

Btw, Zofryer, did you get the .031 i sent you? It's a bit stiffer. My mom was using the .035 for several weeks at one time, but that one is really stiff and i don't think most people would find it comfortable.

The Super T is like an adjustable bed mattress, you just have to find the setting that works for you

David quick question if I may, Are the springs something we can buy at the local hardware store? Just wondering, might like to try different settings to see which is right for me.

You could find a .035 with similar dimensions, but not the other three. They have to have specific ID too so they friction fit on the post. I have all springs available though...
