Why would I only be able to taste juices from Viking Vapor?

I'm still a Noob. Almost three whole weeks!

I have sample juices from six different vendors so far; menthols, fruits, dessert flavors and the only one's I can taste come from Viking Vapor. Why is that? I can taste all seven flavors I bought. They have the only vanilla, so far, that tastes like vanilla to me.

And where do these places get their ingredients anyway?

Thanks!

I am assuming you recently quit smoking? Try some stronger flavors for a month, let your tastebuds get a chance to come back. I am analog free over 4 months now and my tastes are still changing.

Congratulations on the 4 months!!

Yep, I'm still a noob :)

Didn't bother me too much when they all tasted bad, or didn't have any flavor at all. Samples were still arriving, and when I tried viking vapor's juice I thought my taste buds had recovered. Nope. The others still taste bad or don't taste at all.

I just wonder where they get their supplies from? And who else uses that supplier? Anyway, I'll order more from them, I just don't want to waste money on vendors that use the flavors that don't taste good to me right now. Sigh

They generally won't tell you where they get their flavors from. Some of them might tell you where their nic. bases are from, but most of these companies keep things tight to the chest. It's really kind of cutthroat and you could be a spy or something.

Let the ones you can't taste steep a while. Some companies, even the best ones, make their juices almost as you order. It takes a lot of juices a while before the flavor really gets infused in there. I DIY and every time I make a juice that tastes good right after I make it, it's too strong a week or two later. The stuff you can't taste or don't like right now, might taste entirely different in a week or a few weeks.

I got some Strawberry Lime Cooler Juice from Virgin Vapors. Everyone raved abut VV juice. When I got it, this stuff was so terrible I didn't want to throw it away for fear of killing some innocent ants that might pass by. It took a good month before it was vapable. It didn't turn delicious, but it was definitely vapable and at least remotely like strawberry and lime.

Your taste buds are still healing. Also, you may be more sensitive to the type of flavorings from the vendor. Another thing is to drink tons of water to help keep hydrated. Dehydration will affect your taste buds.

Some flavorings are manufactured in the US, some from Italy, and some from China. Majority of nic base comes from China.

You might give DIY'ing a try. Nice thing about it is you can adjust your flavoring to suit you. There is a huge forum on it if you're interested.

Didn’t think about that when I posted my question. And with “Accomplice” as a screen name… LOL!

I’ll definitely keep the ones that don’t taste good right now and hope for the best.

Yep, learned this the hard way. Water! Water! Water!

I probably will but I need to learn a lot more before I try it myself!!
