They are designed it seems to how they would taste fresh off a clean coil. People on here will know I've been getting fed up with liking a new liquid at first and then finding they get 'simple' and quickly lose their complexity.

Well I have recently bought and Aspire cleito tank where you vape pretty much off the coil, massive airflow and massive wick holes.

Man my e-liquids have woke the hell up.

I documented my experience here -

Subtank nano VS Aspire Cleito - comparisons please

To sum up, you want to taste the full extent of your high end liquids, in my opinion and experience you have to drip or use an RTA or a Cleito. It seems these liquids were not concocted and imagined with struggling through cotton, limited airflow, and a bridge between the mouthpiece and the coil.

It's all subjective and some people love their liquids on lower power, different type coils ets, so YMMV.

But my experience has shown me that anything less than dripping, RTA or a Cleito and wanting the full flavour is like trying to get the full flavour of a fine wine out of a paper cup or something, poor analogy but you get my drift.

I'm no expert, still learning, and may have different goals than most people. I find I'm getting the best flavor and throat hit from a fresh wick and coil. Changing the wick can improve things but a brand new build is stll the best. I don't know why. I went to dripping exclusively last May for a variety of reasons including I can change the wick and/or coil as often as I want.

Then I found one particular rda does flavor better than the others I have so it's the only one I use. Then I found it's so good at flavor I get a good result from just a tiny amount of flavoring in my DIY mixes. The benefit of that is I taste it but bystanders don't notice an odor. Another noticable benefit of less flavoring is my wicks and coils gunk up much slower so I'm getting that fresh taste more of the time.

To keep the coils and wicks clean longer but still get the premix taste you like try cutting the pre mix with unflavored DIY that has the same % of nicotine as the pre mix. I get good flavor with a 50-50 mix and even with a 25-75 mix. So I'm getting the pre mix taste, my coils gunk up slower, and I save money because the unflavored DIY costs about 1.2 cents per ml to make.
