Why?

I vape mainly unflavoured or a very diluted flavoured juice and yup,I find my vape harsh on the throat in the mornings.By the time evening rolls around there's no hint of harshness at all.

I attributed this to my over 40 years of smoking and the damage that did.

I do as well, and find it changes quite a bit throughout the day, and much depends on what I've had to eat. Oh, and I don't much care for straight unflavored first thing in the morning, even with coffee, but by mid-to-late morning, it becomes my preferred vape.

I'm the same. Once upon a time I needed lots more flavor. As my taste buds healed I found higher flavor percentages too flavorful. I tend to mix lower these days and find myself at average or even low on the suggested percentages for most juices.

At least every other mix session I lower flavor percentages. I expected this but was surprised by how soon I started lowering the overall flavor %.

For me it's the opposite unflavoured first thing in the morning with my coffee,as the day wears on,the diluted flavoured stuff comes out.

I still like flavorful juices. Im vaping humble juice's american dream at the moment. Same deal though. It tastes smoother now than earlier when i bought it. This one is kinda weird but in a good way. Fruity COPYRIGHTDMCA and rice krispy treats with a touch of citrus, mostly lemon i think. I did have to re wick like i thought the other nite. Rewicked for the new flavor, of course, but ewww was the old wick ever nasty, lol. And well done in the middle. But i still dont think that was the cause of the taste difference that i get from day to night. Food tastes different when you eat outdoors, and i guess vape is really no different. So there are several factors involved i suppose.

My throat is always more sensitive in the morning. I guess because I've become dehydrated overnight. I choose the mildest of my vapes for the first couple of hours in the morning.

Honestly most any fluid intake is good, doesn’t need to be water. Of course sugar free is more desirable but again for fluid intake just as good.
