wick is not wicken

hello all just got my first rebuildable followed many youtube videos built it up and the coil while ugly glows well but it just doesn't seem to be moving any juice up saw all kinds of tips for hot spots but nothing about the wick not working any help?

its a did clone ss 400 heated three times cooled then juice three times and burnt off

Ninja I think I read you mentioning the fill hole screw out in some other thread and this has helped my DID wicking issues ..

It does help greatly on these smaller clones and although you can't go horizontal for much time with them it does pay dividends on the vaping experience not getting harsh dry hits..

need more mesh!

will a hole that big in the middle your wick is setup for more of a gravity feed. for it to work properly you need to roll up more mesh.
the more mesh you have in the wick the better capillary action(wicking) you will get.

the center hole of my wick is about the size of a small pin(just enough to let the air back in). and the outer diameter of my wick fits snug in the wick hole. this way i can leave the fill screw in, to prevent leaking.

this is my best assumption, with only going by that picture, other factors may be affecting this, but its worth a try.
