I have a ipv mini 30 watts, what is the best wicking technique for clouds on my dripper, I have a freakshow rda.

That looks like a great RDA :). Best wicking for clouds is IMO going to be the same as the best wicking for general vaping. If you're using cotton, don't put too much in the coils. If you're using rayon, use significantly more than with cotton. If you're putting the wick inside the coils keep the wick tails off the bottom of the coils so that area of the coils can make vapor. If you're putting wick on the outside of the coils (dragon style) make sure the ends of the coils are free of wick so the coils can breath properly.

Also if you have any advice on builds for clouds Eg wraps and diameter, watts, would be helpful, I'm using 28g kanthal wire

You have 30 watts to work with in the IPV mini. The better you get at setting up those 30 watts in your RDA, the more vapor you'll produce. Variables are wire gauge, coil resistance, amount of air flow, air flow path, your draw technique and the juice. I you're serious about this you will benefit greatly by learning how to use the Steam Engine calculators. Experiment with all that and learn it well and you'll make the most of the power and the hardware you have. After that, if you still want more you'll have to get more power and maybe different hardware and then learn how to use it.

I suggest you take things slow and improve in steps. It's unlikely you're going to create the ultimate vape with your gear the first few times around.

Is that directed at me somehow, why am I being quoted?.

Mostly because you chose to post the cloud chasing pic.

I don't need to chase clouds bro.

Oh yeah, your pic makes that obvious...

there's nothing " high wattage" about 19 watts, true and You can hide under the low watts banner saying that.

For a 1.8ohm coil that is very high watts.

but don't think your fooling people with almost 7 volts output it is still brute forcing that little coil

5.85 volts and a 3.2amp battery draw if you do the math right.

I'm running a measily 3.8 probably - .2 under load.

No, you're running 4.2 volts, almost 29 watts, and a 7.6amp battery draw unless you're somehow discharging your battery before you use it to vape with. More than twice the amp draw as I am.

People like what they like not trying to argue, decent clouds and cloud chasing are separate things. And ya don't need high power to enjoy vaping thick tasty clouds.
Obviously that is what you need to be happy,

I'm not the one taking selfies of me blowing big clouds while I'm driving. Actually, I prefer a mouth to lung hit and was only making a point that big clouds do not require subohm builds. You can blow just as good of clouds using a retail coil in a non-cloud chasing tank like the Nautilus.

many people like me dont I also run 80/20 pg/vg so about 50% less vapor volume then your cloud juice , ( can't stand all that VG)

What mix juice am I using again? May want to go back and read my previous post before you get all smug there.
