Wicks burning!

Most likely because it's not wicking fast enough.
Try using a thinner piece of cotton or doing the gangsta lean (90ish degrees? so gravity'll pull the juice down) when you're toking it.

It started burning right when I put juice on top, every single one. I haven't been able to get something to work on here, started with SS mesh and stopped trying for now, went to cotton rolled and it was ok then burned, low wattage burn, but if the cotton is too big u say it's starving the wick? I just checked the coil and it gets red evenly
Hey ktribb. You say the coil dryburns evenly with no hot spots, then the only thing it could be is that the cotton is too tight.
Use a wispy piece of cotton, with no shoulders at coil or wick hole.

Too tight in the coil and smothering or tight in the wick hole? Seems it's only warming up at the top of the coil, bottom of wick in coil is just wet color.
Just keep messing with the cotton densities till you get it right. When going through the coil I wind the cotton strand tightly so it pulls through the coil with little resistance, then untwist it so the wick fluffs up a bit. Then I always saturate with juice before testing. Once you get your densities down should have no problems.
I rarely use cotton anymore, using Hemp fiber for most of my wicks now, wicks better and more heat tolerant.

I appreciate the help, I'm gunna have to wait to try more as my eyes are getting tired from looking at tiny coils all night, I've been saturating with juice drops, and all of that, i can do them alright on my protank but this is obv more in depth haha
I love vaping but this morning I wake up bored of it, getting tired of priming the cartos, my mini protank 2 leaks and also just started getting issues with shorts with mini coils
Hang in there man. On the genny just make sure you wick is not pinched off in the wick hole. If it swells and it's bigger than the wick hole it won't feed as fast. Post up a pic of your Burnt wick if you can. But I think you'll be doing better next try.
try about 30% less cotton than what you are normally using... from the pic you posted it looks like the amount of cotton is a bit much and its not wicking fast enuf to keep up with you...
Get a regular dripper. You can get an IGO-S for 15 bucks. That should inspire you. Dont' use this as an excuse to go back on the analogs! :wow: Try again. Also, Amazon has cheap magnifying lenses on stands that will take the strain off your eyes. Don't throw in the towel yet. 
I can't throw in the towel as I have a VS dna 20 coming to me, my protankd leak, I need to order an aspire nautilus or something for the dna20, keep my mind busy and something else to vape on when I'm working with coils, thanks for the support guys!
I will work on it in the morning, enjoying my Nemmy and Patriot clones at the moment
