It's more like Ekowool, braided silica sleeve. Not surprised you're getting good results, lots of people reporting good results with it. I haven't tried it yet, I just got some Nextel in from bigoted in both sizes. It's working really well.

Odin, I'd be interested in the 2mm stuff if he isn't.

I was just having some fun. Its just some mediocre silica. Worth more as an emergency backup in my toolbox than the postage to send it.
