Wicks

Under the advice of so many of you on this forum, I think I am going to try "rebuilding" my Kanger Heads.

I want to start with replacing the wicks with cotton. Is there a specific cotton I should be purchasing or just walk into a store and buy a ball of cotton pull and replace?

was wondering if anyone has any experience with that and if it could improve flavor/vape production

I have been thinking about rebuilding myself but haven't started yet. Would think that getting the silica wick out of the coil would be tuff without destroying the coil... would probably have to do a total rebuild?

Use organic, non-bleached cotton.

You'll probably have a hard time removing the wicks from the coils. I built micro coils in mine with cotton.

^ This. To be extra safe, you could/should boil the cotton for about 15 min and let air dry. No better wicking material for a micro on such a small platform.

Do you boil the cotton like many say they do?
