I initially posted a good review on my JCOSJ (Both high strength PG)

Now I don't have a problem with PG in the manufacturers carts, and I also dont have a problem with high strength nicotine as far as I am aware.

After a few puffs of JCOSJ, my mouth goes numb. After the numbness goes away, my taste buds are totally non-working and it takes about 3-4 hours for my taste to come back (When I say a few I mean 4 or 5 hours)

Has anyone else had such problems or am I just strange?

Sorry Ted, I misunderstood what you were saying. I see what you mean now.

Hopefully Macfan will come up with the lab reports and ingredient list soon and we can be reassured that there's nothing bad in the juice. The other problems have been to do with residue from the liquid clogging atomisers. Apparently they've got a new filtering system and it's a much clearer mix now so hopefully that's sorted as soon as the new stock works it's way into the supply chain.

Hi Sanneke, that numbness sounds really weird, I wonder what could cause that. As far as I know it's not something nicotine does and anyway you would get that with other makers liquids and cartridges if that was the case. Without knowing what's in the stuff and being able to compare with other recipes you've used there's no way of finding out if it's sensitivity to a particular ingredient JC are using.

You are wise not to use JC until you know what's causing the problems you're having.

Nicotine could cause the symptom in higher concentrations. I know that with 24mg from any of the suppliers, if i lick a drop of it my tongue tingles and then goes numb. If they are making it from a base of a certain percentage, the nicotine content should be pretty regular.

I'm not defending them in any way with that though. I haven't had the numbness issue, but my video explains my feelings on the liquid.

Try to empty the pipette and give it a good shake. Changes are there is nothing really wrong with it. Wouldn't exactly surprise me if your atomizers started working better as well.

But I've used liquids for a long time now.
I do always squeeze the pipette a couple of times, and I never has this problem before.

I only use Janty liquid, and have no problems what so ever anymore.

All this is just my personal opinion, my personal experience.

Ive tried 3 different suppliers for liquid now and i dont think im an expert and i also dont want people to think im puttin a downer on jc juice but this is what i personally think.

e-cigs.co.uk vanilla juice was spot just what i would expect as if i was using a fresh cart. Ive used this on a super mini and penstyle and found to be excellent (good vape , good throat hit , clear liquid, etc etc)

euro site (cant remember which) pineapple and apple flavours. same as above, good throat hit, clear liquid and good vapour. Again used on penstyle and super mini.

e-cigs.co.uk - johnson creek arctic mint and chocolate decadance(24mg) . Good vapour , nice tastes but bugger all throat hit and cloudy liquid. IMO waste of £36 , but i like throat hit and a good lung full. They dont fulfill my expectations but im sure they do other peoples. I cant say weather or not they clog atomizers as i havent used them enough(given up). Again used on penstyle and supermini.

I have also tried all of the above on a ruyan bling atomizer and guess what none of them work well, the only juice that does work properly on these is ruyan juice !

I have tried several liquids over the past month.

Electronic Cigarette Store - Tobacco and Marlboro 18mg. Not a lot of taste and not a lot of difference between them. But no real complaint - the more I smoked the more I liked it.

Totally Wicked - Tobacco (medium), my favourite. Vanilla (medium), too strong a taste for me, but I add a drop or two to Tobacco to give a hint of Vanilla flavour and it's very good - too good really, very mor'ish ;-)

Johnson Creek - Tobacco (high) and Almond Coffee (high). I can taste the Almonds but nothing else. The Tobacco was like inhaling air, no taste, no nicotine hit. With both I found my tongue appeared to get rough and my mouth did not feel right at all. I have not touched it since. I have to say I was very disappointed after everything I have read about JC juice.

Having read a previous post, I don't think I did shake the bottle but I wouldn't have thought it would need it after it's journey via Royal Mail. I may try again after a good shake !

I too had an reaction to JC. At first I put it off to something I ate, I stopped using it for a day and then went back to the juice. My tongue was totally numb
and didn't regain feeling for 24 hrs. I use Tobacco VG zero nic. Maybe they put some cloves in their product, I don't know. I do know I have not totally regained my speech pattern, that will come later today and I have stopped using the product.
