I'm glad its not just me being weird then, there is definitely something in the JC liquid that doest agree with a few people.

Like I say, I dripped some into both a mini and a classic and gave them a good review on here, then not long after the review I lost the feeling in my mouth..... weird.

I had to wash the atomisers out several times that I tried the JC liquid in until all traces of it were gone.

Mac, could it be that you are using some essence from nuts in part of your juice? Because that's what a lot of kinds of nuts would do with me (allergic for them) too, with or without juice. What you could try, if you do use something that could cause allergies, is heat that part well before mixing it in with the juice... that could take away a big part of the allergenic.

I haven't had any bad reactions to the three flavours I've tried so far (cherry, hickory, tobacco) and I don't have any allergies that i know of. I have sample packs in PG and VG coming and when I've tried them all I'll report back. Don't think this is gonna get me though - my biggest issue with e-smoking is the humectant factor. Doesn't bother my throat, funnily enough, as I was kinda used to that from smoking, but I get a dry forehead and nose. Putting that down to the fact that I really like the vapour, so my head's always in a cloud of it.

In Mac's defense, he does post on his site that if you are allergic to nuts, do not use the product.

I haven't had any allergic reactions to the juice...but my atomizers did unfortunately. I would have suspected that maybe it was a bad atomizer at first, but I used it on several different devices. Some that were new and same reaction after a few days. So, I just had to put 2 and 2 together and stop using the juice. It's a good idea, but I think it needs a lot more testing and reformulating before being sold to the public, IMO. I'm sorry Christian. That's my opinion. Maybe a few members might not mind being a lab rat for the juice until it's right and ready for the mainstream.

Karen re your atomisers dying, did you drip the JC or put into carts?

Both. I dripped my kissbox and ended up having to have it replaced. I've trashed several others. And with one device the liquid leaked so bad in the battery, it fell apart out of the charger. I gave it the benefit of the doubt. It was not for me. I used both PG (hickory) and VG (regular and artic mint).

Karen, your problem with the atomizers--is it because you dripped directly on 'em?

For the record, I've never had any atomizer problems with this--but I only used empty carts (or topped off near-empty ones). Never had any numbness issues, and I enjoyed the vanilla ice cream liquid the best.

(I don't like the prefilled vanilla carts, they're almost perfumey; but Johnsons got it just right with their ice creamy vanilla.) I found it to be a very non-irritating, smooth vapor too. :)

I really liked the JC smokejuice. I don't have an allergy to nuts, so that's why I put it off to cloves or something else. The numbness has the exact feeling of going to the dentist. I smoked it solid for a week and then it hit me like a rock. No problems with atomizers, I guess I am lucky in that respect. I like his products, just not for me.

My stuff could have been from some bad batches. And if so, that's definitely not a good track record. Will need to give it some more time and reviews indicating improvement before I'm willing to try it again. And even then, I wouldn't use it on a more expensive device. I think I learned a hard lesson.

i think its almost impossible with esmoking products..as we all know its a new products, which is on the state of developing..so, when the new things appears - we think its a new and better step of developing and happily stepping in the "trap" after few "euphoric" review..i m afraid nothing to do with it ;-) but concerning the "expensive device" i would say that its look wrong when we are paying for new more expensive products-in fact we r testing...so, companies should remember it ..and behave ;-)

theres so many inconsistent stories about JC...
i dunno whats going on with this stuff...

the random atomiser blocking sounds like all batches are not created equal...

anyone else noticed it seems to be mainly people relatively new to esmoking who are happy with the taste and throat hit...we old timers seem to be less enamoured with it...

i reckon we're harder to hit,cos we're so used to it now...just a theory...im sure there are some exceptions.
