Hey guys. Posting because I have a bit of a problem.
My wife is considering going back to stinkies
We have a provari and she uses it mostly since I've gone over to a mech mod and a dropper.
Her problem is that no matter what she does... She does not get a nicotine buzz at all from vaping.
She misses the buzz that cigs give her and she can't help but be frustrated when she sees me all star eyed from dripping 6mg juice.
Shes even tried my dripper with no luck. We've tried even bumping her nic up to 24 but all that does is make her cough and give her a headache. Does anyone have any ideas on what we can do... I don't want her going back to smokes and I see the jealousy in her eyes when I'm buzzing. Such a buzzkill.
Any ideas would be great..
sincerely,
a worried husband.

We just had a baby so she did not have a smoke for 9 months. And then a friend came over after the baby and she just had to have one. Instant buzz for her.

I always got a buzz right in the morning and the cigarette after dinner. All of the cigarettes throughout the day gave me no buzz though.
Still nothing like the buzz off of your morning smoke with a nice cup of joe.

I loved smoking, but when my first smoke of the day included as much coughing as smoking, then it became a bore.

Perhaps she'll get a buzz if she uses nothing for a day and then has a blast of 24mg juice the next morning! I smoked so much i never got a buzz, even first thing, so in some ways switching was easier since i just swapped smoking for vaping. Perhaps she'd like a go with your mechanical?

I used tobacco so long I don't remember a nic buzz either. Don't get one with vaping, so I cannot help. Try reminding her of all the junk in cigarettes that you get along with nicotine.

I have never tried it but have heard that WTA works for some people. It may be worth a try with a new baby in the house. Anything is worth a try. I had a hard time trying to keep off smokes as I was a heavy smoker. I still have days where I want a smoke but them days I vape none stop.

Someone beat me to it. I type slow lol

Yeah I can't do the 24 either. I've went down to 6mg. My husband drips 18mg all the time. It makes me cough...too much throat hit.

I'd say her instant buzz was from not smoking for 9 months. What type of topper is she using?

She is using a kayfun 3.1 and some carto tanks.

I'll check out WTA liquids. Just hope we can get past this.
No she remembers all of the buzzes she got from smoking cigs back when she did. It wasn't just the one after the pregnancy.

Those are all what are becoming classic signs of minor tobacco alkaloid dependence among vapers: an initial switch followed by feeling something is missing, or being unsatisfied no matter what the nicotine level.

Look up Whole Tobacco Alkaloids. Nicotine e-liquid doesn't give the same kind of buzz as tobacco, but whole tobacco alkaloid will do that.

I would only get a buzz from cigarettes if I didn't smoke for a day or so. I started gaping last year but eventually went back to cigarettes because I don't think I could get enough nic from gaping. I tried higher nic liquid but anything over 12mg would tear my throat apart. Now I made eliquid with 24mg nic, and the only pg is from the flavors, and I use cartos. No more throat irritation, and I get enough nic to keep me off of cigarettes.
According to research, you need to cape for approximately 35mins of 18mg to get the same nic amount as one cigarette. It is research done by Dr Farsalinos after EU legislation of max 20mg nic liquid.
