When Ruby Roo did her review (back in December) the only iStick that was available was the iStick 20watt. You could not use the Atlantis on the iStick then because it would only fire a coil 1Ω and higher.

I use my Atlantis on an iStick 50watt because I like vaping it at 40watts and because the 50watt is a 4400 mAh battery. The iStick 30watt is a 2200 mAh battery.

If you don't like a wide open airy draw you most likely will not like the Atlantis. Most people who are mouth-to-lung inhalers (vs direct-to-lung inhalers) choose to go with either the Aspire Nautilus (or mini Nautilus) or mini Subohm tank. I can lung hit on both of these or I can MTL hit as well.

The Atlantis does mute my flavors some as compared to the Nautilus and the mini Subtank.

In my opinion, it is a fair advice not to use the Atlantis with the iStick 30W. Reason being that people find that the Atlantis performs well above 30W but it will purely be based on what wattage you prefer to vape at (in particularly with the Atlantis).

The iStick 30W will still be able to use with Atlantis but you will probably be using the mod above 20W to 30W where you will be pushing the limit of the mod more often and the battery will deplete much faster. Added the fact that you may not be fully utilizing the full potential of Atlantis below 30W.

You can try the newer iStick 50W or the IPV Mini 2 (70W) to go with Atlantis or if you prefer iStick 30W, you may try alternative tanks like Subtank, Arctic or other sub-ohm tanks (if that's your target) that can accommodate higher resistance instead of just 0.5..

If you can afford the istick 50 and the size, the dont bother, just go with the Istick 50.

If 30 is all you can, and you like it the most, go with 30.

Vaping between 20-30 on atlantis, KST, Melo, or any other Tanks, should be OK for those range. I vape 7-15w on my Atlantis and KST Mini.

Go. Buy. Vape. Dont Smoke.

ps : Today is my 1st day with Kanger Subtank Mini, and I do think it's kinda better than Atlantis.

^^^ That. At only 30 watts that's barely enough for the 0.5 ohm Atlantis coils. At best it's pushing the limits of a 30 watt stick, at worst the Atlantis won't deliver what you are looking for.

For mod, you can go for iStick 50 (+/1 $50) with Kanger Subtank Mini (choice of 0.5 ohm or 1.2 ohm) or Horizon Arctic (choice of 0.2 ohm, 0.5ohm or 1.2 ohm but don't go for 0.2 ohm yet as a 50W may not be sufficient for it). Both will amount to $90-100.

Subtank will give you the ability to go rebuild if you are considering it and is a good all-rounder in terms of flavor and cloud.

Arctic is reported to be better performer but I have not personally tested it yet and it does not come with option for rebuild at present moment.
