I have a Vivi nova 2.5 mini and it fell out of my cup holder onto the floor. The bottom plate separated from the metal tube ring, I used a plyers and pressed it back together but now my acrylic tube is always greasy with juice, I am curious if anyone sells a one piece metal tank with the bottom threads on it so they can't separate.
thanks Jeff

Have you got a pick? Because the only plate I know of screws onto the plastic or metal sleeve that makes up the tank. Are you maybe talking about the center post that the atty screws onto? Did that separate from the bottom?
Given enough force there are not to many tanks that will not fold on you. Your lucky it didn't strip out your 510 threads. They do make a metal tank for the vivi and it is tough but again nothing is indestructible.

Dropped my mini nova too, and had the bottom part separate on me. Double check and make sure you got it back together all the way. My first pinch with the pliers ended up popping the opposite side loose and I had leaking issues. Had to give it a squeeze all the way around for it to completely go back to normal. No problems now. :D

No problems here changing the mini nova tanks. Watch for that O-Ring.

Same here. Dropped my mini nova attached to a zmax. The bottom plate which is connected to the post separated from the bottom ring. Put it back using pliers and was pretty pleased with my handy work until I saw the the post is bent to one side :(

Yeah, they could have been built better but I guess it's better that the nova took the hit rather than bending the 510 connector of your mod.
