Will a PCC make a batt last a day?

Hi guys,

I'm still waiting for my first e-cig order to arrive (oh the agony :D), and I have a question about battery life: will keeping normal 510 battery in the PCC while not vaping make it last a day? It would be convenient if I could keep all my vaping gear in one little box that lasted a day.

Same question, but how does it apply to the KR808D-1? This is probably going to be my second e-cig.

Thanks!

If you want to carry everything in your 510 PCC then you already know that you'll have one battery, one atty with cart, and two spare carts. If this is all you want to carry then yes, it should keep your battery charged all day as long as you take it out only to screw that atty with cart on, vape, unscrew atty and cart and put everything away. My guess would be yes (never tried that though).

My guess would also be that you intend to use it just as you would use regular cigs (analogs) in that you would only pull one out, light it, smoke it and put it out when you're on break, lunch or whenever you normally did.

If you vape a lot though, you might want to keep a second fully-charged batt with you as well. Even if you use an elastic or two to keep it attached to the outside of your PCC. I'd rather carry an extra batt just in case than to have a dead battery with no backup.

I also have the 510 PCC and I carry one fully assembled for use and every once in awhile I simply swap active battery with the one in the pcc. Have yet to not have a battery ready when needed. I estimate I use approximately 2.5-3 batts a day.

I will most likely swap to MEGA batts, atty's, and carts as soon as the MEGA PCC is readily available for purchase. Only place I saw the MEGA PCC thus far was direct from a Chinese supplier in black. Only makes the 510 about 35mm longer which is not a big deal to me. Mega carts hold twice as much juice which sounds good to me as well.

When I ordered my 510 before it arrived I assumed it would be about the size of a standard bic pen. Turns out it is shorter about the size of a marlboro 100. The Mega size is about the size of a bic pen. Of course everyone vapes at a different rate so you really need to gauge how you vape and estimate the right product for your needs.

The larger battery mods are probably more suitable for heavy vapers if they suck down 510 size batts at a rapid rate.

I've been using my PCC as a holding case for work. The way my breaks are, they're on a schedule. I'll vape on the way to work, and when I get there, I put the battery in the PCC. 2 hours later it's my breaktime, and I have a fully charged battery to vape off of for 15 minutes. After my break, I put it back in the PCC to charge for my lunch hour. repeat for the next break and again for the end of the day. When i get home, I switch to a different battery, and let the one I've been using on and off all day charge up in a normal charger while I charge my PCC. I've not had a battery die yet doing it this way.

Alternately, I did this same break schedule without charging in between one day, and my battery lasted all day until about 10 minutes before I got home. With scheduled breaks, it seems to work out ok for me, since I'm not vaping all day constantly.
