Maybe this is just me, but I started diy a couple of months ago and when I use dark aroma (so my juice is dark) my coils is getting stopped (sorry I can't explain this in English)... Like the holes in the coils is filled with dirt.. When I use a clear liquid like USA mix, I don't seem to have this problem.. Don't know if this makes any sense lol

Makes perfect sense. Yes; as a general rule (I imagine there are exceptions) the darker the e-liquid; the faster the coils clog up (often referred to as coil gunk). This is one of the reasons the use of food coloring fell out of favor early in the industry (that and no reason to add unnecessary extra chemicals). When I was still buying commercial e-liquids, coffees, root beers, black licorices, and the darker caramels were all fast coil killers.

Now that you have begun to DIY; try to look for concentrates that don't use food coloring. If they are naturally dark, you are just going to have to choose between not using them, and using them and replacing/cleaning your coils more often.:D

Yes dark, sweet or "gunky" juices like WTA and NET will cause buildup in your coil sooner. If you are using aroma's WTA you will either need to agree to yourself that you will be rewicking frequently, or by changing to a lighter, less sweet or gunky juice. I like aroma's wholesale WTA for that reason, I can use just a little bit in my tank without getting gunked up as fast.

Best of luck,

Anna
