Will dark juices (mocha, vanilla, etc.) like the 1.5 dual coil cartos?

I use a standard Riva and usually Boge 2.0 cartos. I'm trying to understand DCC's and have a box of 1.5's. I'm thinking these would be good for dark juices and even one's I've burned in the 2.0, the logic being that each coil is only 3.0 ohm therefore not as hot as the single 2.0 carto. Can you tell me if this logic is correct? If so do you think this probably means the nasty taste that occurs in 2 days with dark juices will take longer to occur because the juice is exposed to less heat? I did use a tobacco type juice in one and find the flavor comparable to the Boge. Any opinions on how the DCC acts on types of flavors which to me is the number one priority, then TH, then vapor.

Everyone seems ga ga over the dcc's because of the vapor but if they cost more and eat up your juice and battery twice as fast what's all the buzz for? I just want more and better flavor. Thanks for your advice.

You thinking is correct. I do find they have better flavor than LR Boges, and for a longer period than LRs. Mine are labeled as 1.5 ohm, but upon checking a couple, it is actually about 1.9 ohm, which puts the coils at about 3.8 ohm each. I get a couple days on an LR Boge before its time to set it aside for cleaning and use a new or cleaned one. I get much longer with a DCC, maybe 4 days, but that just might be habit of wanting to use a clean one rather than literal need, unless I want to change up flavors a lot. I use the flavors you mention, save for tobacco (don't use a lot of that), and the juices can get dark. The DCCs do use up a batt a little faster than a 2.0 ohm carto, as is expected. The vapor is not as hot, but there is more of it. I use SmokeTech 1.5 ohm DCCs, and I like them fine, but I wish they had more air flow. Might be because I use XL DCCs, and all that filler can tend to distort the center hole.

This all said, I find both types of cartos clean up with boiling water quite well, to virtually white filler if they have only had a couple cleanings. 5 or 6 cleanings and no carto will look white, but it might vape and taste virtually new. Clogs are primarily a mechanical thing, not a juice thing...the center airhole through the filler is crimped and/or the side air holes above the threads have become blocked by the centerpost, which has been pushed up by the batt terminal.

If flavor is tops with you, I would also recommend looking into CE2 cartos. I think they have the very best flavor, but they are harder to fill and don't tend to wick as quickly, so you can't really chain vape on them. I think there are CE4s out now, supposedly with improvements on these issues, but I've no experience with them. But even 3.2 ohms to me is plenty hot, even at 3.2V. Batts last much longer with these, of course, but they are higher maintenance. Clearos also have great flavor, but have a tendency to crack and/or fall apart after a couple cleanings. Same technology as a CE2, but plastic tube, rather than metal. At the extreme end of the CE2 type coil-assemblies is the MAP tank, which is a clearo with a large tank tube. Mine is 4 mL.
