Good for you guys. I was on the fence about ordering it here locally, but based on many YouTube reviews and some reading here I've decided that this unit was not was I was hoping for.
I agree.
It seems like a great concept, but reading the Alpha thread and other reviews it has some shortcommings that will make me pass on it. The fact that they use Vavg instead of Vrms causing it to hit MUCH harder than it should at lower voltages is a deal breaker for me.

Thanks for asking Njt...as Chris said we had to make a fully informed, from-all-sides, intelligent decision on this. I agree with the VapeTeam's assessment on this which they expressed when they interviewed our own SolemnPenguin (I claim him because he is from Houston :)...They urged vendors not to stock this so as not to encourage soemthign that really has been half way done.

You can't put this in the hands of a general consumer and expect them to be happy with throwing a 2.4-2.6 carto on this (let alone anything lower) and half of your hits burn even at the lowest settings.

If this thing sold for 2/3rds this price maybe we can overlook that because it does have variable wattage (but even that isn't consistent per tests that have been done) but when someone starts paying near Provari kind of prices they demand more, they expect more and we have to deal with that in CS.

Chris and I/GotVapes have/has a pretty close relationship with SMOKtech...we have let them know our issues with their MAX series.
