I have used isticks and EGO batteries for years. Now am thinking based on things I have read here that I should go to a mod with a replaceable battery.
My kids are now getting int vaping ( thanks to me being off cigs for 3 yrs ) and I want them to chosse the right equipt. also.
What is a good way to go?
Still want something small....don't like the huge mods that dont fit in my hand comfortably and still need to be incognito at work ....lol

If you don't need to vape over 15 watts and can reasonably afford one, it would be hard to beat a Mini Provari. Prices start under $100. Provape prides itself with making the safest and most reliable vaporizors on the market.

Why Provari?

Regardless of what you choose mod-wise, one which uses removeable IMR batteries will be safer. These are safe-chemistry batteries. Mods which use a non-removeable internal battery (like the iSticks) use LiPo chemistry batteries, which is not safe-chemistry and could result in fires or explosions.

ok....then I guess a-shopping I will go....I really am not comfortable with being NON-safe anymore.
Scares me that something could happen.....and especially since I now have the kids to worry about....a parent always does no matter how old they are.
All of us vape at 8-9 watts or less so there is no sub-ohming going on.

Smallish single 18650 mods for $50ish. Lots more out there, but these are a few that came to mind. I have heard mixed reviews on the Invader Mini, but the other 2 are supposed to be great devices. I put the ivader on there because I've seen videos of folks trying to destroy with very little success. They are just about bulletproof. It's the internals I have seen mixed opinions on.

with temp control (does sub ohm) - http://www.joyetech.com/product/ego-one-vt/
without temp control (sub ohm as well) - http://www.joyetech.com/product/ego-one/
same as previous but larger size - http://www.joyetech.com/product/ego-one-mega/

there are also mini models too.

This might be confusing. A lot of people think of eGo class batteries as the 350 - 1100 eGo series and the Spinners and other similar devices. My guess is Joyetech is either trying to leverage the familiar name, trying to re-brand it or both.
