dude honestly, don't let anyone steer you the way down the road of spending thousands on this if you truly do not want to or do not have the funds to do so. if you want a cig-alike to look semi "normal" outside of your home, get a PCC kit with some spare cartos. if you want an eGo or two for a good long lasting semi-inconspicuous set up, get 1-2 eGos or spinner/twists and a few kangers/clearos. If you want a nice mechanical mod that'll last you 10 years, get one with a few batteries. If you want a VV/VW device, get one with a few batteries for it. Get a couple of your favorite toppers, some favorite juices, and just vape! You can collect if you want but you could end up with things you don't even need down the road. Or you can build up a stock for a "vapepocalypse" but, don't blow your paychecks on that. You'll be able to vape. You'll find a way. Even if its less comfortable than vaping is now. But the most important thing is to VAPE!

I don't think i'll catch onto mod fever, i'm more likely to step up to a single 'cheaper' hybrid than buying several cheap mods that may or may not break after half a year. I do feel hot 'n heavy when I see pictures of an Ikarus V1.
I'm very tempted to get whole bunches of other stuff, but it helps me to keep in mind how long I'll enjoy something before having to invest again. It's the small orders piling up that start becoming 'expensive'.

At first it might cost a lil more trying to figure out exactly the flavors and setup that will satisfie you, but you sure don't have to spend $150 or more on a mod to get there. Also, once you figure out what you like, it's downright super inexpensive. I make my own juice now and build my own coils for cents. I bought enough nic to last me probably 2 years for $60. I don't buy much of anything anymore.
