will liquid leak through the connector

that leads into the top of the buzz where the electronics board is?
just noticed that when i flood my 510 it goes through the adapter and
the screw shaped connection is wet. how far down will liquid go and
will it damage the buzz?

any reason to worry?

Great question. I've had a few floods myself and wondered the same thing. Hard to clean out that screw area.
When I changed from 901 to 510 cap I got my magnifying glass to get a good look inside and could find no evidence of liquid leaking through.
I want to see what Buzz has to say.

They went through this on the other thread and he has them sealed now. Unless you got one of the first ones made. I got one of the first ones and have had liquid on top and never a drop inside.

Are you sure he's having them all fully sealed now? I know that Buzz did a special silicone job on mine when I requested it, but I don't remember hearing him say that they're now sealing them all 100%.

Anyway, I'm interested in hearing the final verdict!

Last thing I read was he redid the top so they wouldn't leak when everyone was concerned but I don't follow it that close so he's the guy to give you a 100% answer. I've had one for about 4 mo. though and it's never leaked anyway.

We do not fully seal them . however due to Surface tension and the very small space between the parts they do NOT leak IME ( in my experience)
ALso the Juice is NON CONDUCTIVE meaning it will not short out the electronics !
