Hey everyone just wondering if anyones tried this and it works. I actually prefer the other atomizer as it seems to be more smooth. Searched the forum and cldnt pull up anything.

They work great! I'm not too fond of the carta-whistle-mizer (too loud, too much air in my vape) so I tried a 901 atty last evening and am still happily silently fogging up the room
I RAN from my 901 to the Nebula, and have absolutely no intentions of turning back. For about the same cost as a single 901 atty, I can get five juice-filled cartomizers that require me to drip at least five times less often; never spit juice in my mouth; and deliver nice, full-bodied hits far more often than I was ever able to get out of my 901s. Plus, the cartomizer is excessively noisy (or airy) only when I am sucking too hard (usually due to my juice or battery running low), or when my air-flow path is out of alignment; both of which are easily addressed.
IMO, my 901 attys can rest in peace.

Maybe something is wrong with mine, every cartomizer I have tried seems to have this burning taste. I have been esmoking for a while so it isnt that I dont know what Im doing. I also refilled with liquid and it seems to help but not completely.

The only time I get a bad taste is when I've waited too long to top-off. Once you combine a hot nichrome coil with too much dry fabric, and not enough juice, the fabric is going to burn. And once it burns to a certain point, the taste is too horrible to ignore (or cover up with fresh juice). As a result, it is a good idea to put a couple of drops of juice down the battery hole on a brand new cartomizer before you use it; and to top-off more frequently to avoid running the cartomizer dry.

I just get annoyed sometimes because I like to see what Im doing. I like to see the metal and the cotton. I feel like Im blindly putting liquid in and all I see is cotton with a hole in it or the batt side just a hole, but Im unsure where its going.

I have been having very good luck with adding a few drops every hr or so. I even add 2 drops to a fresh cart. I think these carts do much better when you add a little juice here and there than to run them almost dry and then try and refill it as the filler will get dry and scorched, at least that's what happen to one to my carts. 8 days of use now and I have used just 3 carts, I use them on my magnum at home, the nebula for work going out and about, gaming etc.. so I would give the topping up a try and see how it works for you.
