I also smoked reds before switching to chewing tobacco, and found that the tobacco flavors did nothing for me, granted I only tried a few from not so great companies. The tobacco flavors will NOT taste, nor I dont think they ever will, like BURNT tobacco. They will taste like the tobacco smells like from a new pack/pouch of tobacco.

If this worries you, try finding a juice flavor of something you like to eat or drink. That's what I did and I completely forgot about trying to find a tobacco flavor, the throat hit and vapor production soothed my "wants" of a cigarette well enough.

Thats a funny question because the first thing I thought when I started Vaping was " I gotta find something that tastes like a stinky "... after a week of trying different juices I don't even like the taste of " tobacco " flavored liquids... to get you started you may want to try MLB2 ( a Marlboro Light flavor ) or Red and White ( a Red flavor )... as others have stated nothing comes close to an analog but these were decent in my opinion.

I have now switched over to the " fruity " flavors and love them... when I started reading this forum about what people were vaping I thought they were all crazy when they talked about things like Mint and Cheesecake and Peach and Strawberry... once you try it though you will be surprised.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Been a red smoker all my life and found nothing out there that even comes close. On the other hand, these days I vape mostly fruit based DIY stuff with an occasional butterscotch, Kalua and Cream, Irish Mist thrown in. Tobacco flavored anything these days just turns me off-even my beloved (or hated) Reds which I smooch from a friend once in a while to remind me of how foul they taste.

I will second the above suggestions-nothing e-juice will taste like a "burro" ( and I have smoked ALOT of burros).
I did buy some 'Smooth Tobacco' from myvapestore with my kit- and it wasn't bad. I also heard the the 555 from EC Blends is good.
I'm into Coffee from MVS in the AM, and Fruit flavores from ECBs in the day and evening. Taste great to me.

When I started vaping, I wanted it to taste as close to the "real thing" as possible.

Now it's the exact opposite. There's some decent tobacco flavors out there, but I quickly figured out that one of my favorite things about vaping is it doesn't have to taste like .......

Right now I'm vaping "Banana Nut Bread" from Mt. Baker Vapor. Yum.

My want for the real tobacco taste lasted about 2 hours. LOL I bought 2 types of juice that were supposed to mimic that of a Marlboro light. They didn't really do it. One had a nuttier flavor, one had a fruitier undertone. I found myself really liking the fruity undertone. The fruity part was what I liked, not that it tasted anything like tobacco. I also got a strawberry flavored juice that I found was pretty good. From reviews I had heard that AiV has some pretty phenomenal juices out there. I just put in my first order w/ AiV and I order just about everything they have, seriously. I cannot wait for it to ship! I am definitely thinking I won't want the tobacco flavor juice anymore as the other juices out there are just so much better flavored, imo.

I've come full circle on tobacco flavors since I started vaping, it's what i looked for initially and I tried some really bad ones. Then I moved away from these to mints, fruits, a few bakery and gourmet flavors. Last month I discovered the wonderful world of NEts, naturally extracted tobaccos which mostly are really more like pipe tobacco than cigarettes, but a deep, rich, and complex flavor. HHV has some wonderful ones I must say, legend, serendipity, Shadow, and Darkhorse are the ones I've enjoyed most. Darkhorse is the one a little more like cig tobacco IMO, less of the pipe but still very, very good. If you're looking for cigarette like tobaccos, I'd start with this one. I also am a fan of Vermillion River Premium Kentucky NET, and Halo TriBeCa, as well as several vendors that offer flue cured. I'd recommend these as well to you if that, as much of a cigarette flavor as you are likely to find without burning tobacco and paper, is what you are looking for.

Mountain Oak Vapor has a Gold Tennesee tobacco line many enjoy as well, but the only one I've liked from theirs so far is Sunday Morning. Again though, a title more of a pipe or cigar tobacco, IMO.
