Hi guys!

After some research I just ordered an Appollo standard starter kit yesterday and some blank Cartomizers.

But now I have some questions: I live in Portugal, can someone please tell me a good website where i can buy good and cheap quality juices from europe preferably? I looked on this forum and couldn´t find an answer, I´m sorry if it was asked before!

Also, I smoke Camel filters (the yellow pack), I don´t really like flavored cigarrets and stuff like that, could you guys recommend a good juice for me? And where to get it?

I hope to start vaping really soon!

I have to warn you the tobacco flavored juices really don't taste like cigarettes. They all taste much more like pipe tobacco if anything. that's why you will find that a lot of us vape the food flavors. They actually taste like the foods. The tobacco will never be able to taste like burning leaves. If you are dead set on the tobacco flavors you will just have to try out different ones until you find one that suits your tastes. RY4 is probably the most popular tobacco flavor.

For anyone seriously feeling they need a good tobacco flavor I always recommend DK-TAB from Dekang.
You should be able to get that from a number of European vendors.

Hi guys!!

Thanks a lot for your help, this is a really great community!

So just a quick update on my vaping experience

Got my apollo kit about 20 days ago, since then I only had 1 analog! I was a 1 to 1/2. pack smoker, and now I don´t even want to smoke analogs anymore, now they just taste and smell nasty!

With the apollo kit I got 5 cartomizer filled with "tobacco" flavor. They tasted (in my opinion) horrible. I got a bit disappointed, but wanted to give another try to my Ecig, so I followed letsrock0303 advice and tried the RY4. Got a 10ml juice, and I just LOVED IT. I was that type of guy that did not like the flavored analogs, but I just love my RY4!
Soon the 10ml was almost over, so I just got a 50ml from Ecig Wizard that costed me about 10£, and I´m loving it!

Now I just don´t want/need the analogs anymore, and I feel better and feels good to spend less than half of what I was spending on analog cigarettes!

(Sorry for this big post, but I just couldn´t hold my enthusiasm about my vaping expereince!)

Hi guys, I have another question, I will ask it here so I don´t create another topic just for that.

Does anyone know whats the model of the apollo standard kit cartomizers? Can I find these in other ecig shops or only on the apollo shop?

I ask this because the price of the cartomizers on the apollo shop is not really high, but the only shipping option they have is a "fancy" one that costs only for the shipping 7£, and that´s almost the same price as 5 blank cartomizers.

Looks like standard 510 threading to me

You should be able to use any 510 threaded cartomizer. Apollo won't tell you this, but you're not restricted to their over-priced pre-filled cartomizers. If you want to save some serious cash, just buy empty refillable cartomizers and a big bottle of your favorite juice. You should be able to find those items in any of a million places online.

So here is what the live support told me:

Dave: they have a 108 threading.
Dave: for the standard cartomizers
Dave: (compatible with RN4081 threading)

Is the 108 threading the same as the 510? I would be great if I could use the 510 catos, it would save me some good money.

The RN4081 isn't compatible with a 510.

Sorry for the misinformation. They looked like a standard 510 thread. If they have trapped you into a proprietary carto, I'd be seriously considering picking up a new kit, like an Ego or kgo or something standardized. It'll pay for itself in short order and you'll have a lot more options. It seems pretty sleazy to me to sell a kit that traps your customer that way. I'd dump it just for the principal of the thing.

No problem! You were just trying to help. I agree that is a bad move from apollo to trap costumers to their cartomizers, but I can´t afford another kit for now. Still I love the apollo and the pcc case. Their cartomizers hold alot of e-liquid too, so I only have to fill 2 and it lasts me all day which is great.

I guess I will just have to buy in big quantities to make up for the shipping, their cartomizers are not that expensive compared to the 501 standard ones.
