Hi--I'm looking at getting an EVO as a back up to my Provari V1 (while I wait to get it back from a V2 upgrade) and was hoping to use the Tenergy TN270 that Provape sells to charge the AW IMR 16340's I plan to use in the EVO.I just checked the Provape site and it says the charger is "Compatible with 10440, 14250, 14430, 14500, 16340, 17500, 17650, 17670, 18490/18500, 18650"--on Tenergy's site it says "Cell Size Compatible: 14500/18500/18650/RCR123A"--I don't know alot about batteries and chargers so I'm a bit confused--just don't want to buy another charger if I don't have to.

I just took my 16340's out of my 3VO to see if they fit in the TN270 and they do. It showed red as if it were charging but to be honest I have never charged the 3VO batts on the Tenergy since I haven't used it since getting my Provari. The voltage for the 16340 is the same as the 18490/18500 so it should work just fine. Also, the RCR123A is the same size as a 16340 but it only has 3.0V and not 3.7 like the 16340 has.

No worries.

Thanks! By the way how do you like the 3VO? Is it an ok back up to the Provari--I just want an inexpensive option to tide me over while my V1 is being upgraded to V2(or god forbid I lose my Provari!).
