From the reviews - 2.5A is not going to work terribly well in the LT.

"My only complaint is these batteries after being freshly charged cut out under a high load because of the protection circuit board which seems to be current limited to only around 2.5 Amps. For instance, when trying to drive a Ultrafire WF-502B or WF-501B flashlight with the 900 lumen Cree XML-T6 P60 LED drop-in on max power, it will only illuminate for a couple seconds and then cut off."

I'm sorry if this sounds stupid but I do not understand what you are saying. I don't see anything about 2.5A in the product description, and the A is for Amp correct?

I see that though it is a an 18650, it is rated at 3000mAh rather than other 2600mAh batteries I have seen elsewhere. The only difference I see between them is the 3000mAh and that it has a button top which may make the battery fit tighter.

Ahhhhh gotcha. The product reviews on Amazon itself. *smacks forehead*

I must be losing it today, I order stuff online just about every day for work and personal, and didn't check the reviews this time for no apparent reason. Thank you Sicarius, you just helped me put that $12 into the Provari Mini fund.

I will definately not cheap out on batteries after that close call bob

Thanks guys!

yes you really want the IMR's either the 1600mah which is the standard mah for a IMR or the 2000mah from AW. I prefer the AW brand for all my batteries.

But the best batteries for the LT are IMR's they are a safe chemistry battery and have the high internal amps that the booster needs to run at the higher volts.
