will these boosters work? help!

Newish to the modding game. Just wanting to ask the experts if these 19210 - 5V Boost Regulator « Products « Solarbotics regulators would work for a 5v mod from a single 18650. I love my homemade 5v but don't like two batteries. I want to do one battery, integrated charger but still have my 5 volts. This looks like a pretty good find, but I was a little leery of the 200ma at 5v. Any help would be much appreciated!

200ma output is not enough juice to fire a atomizer. Texas Instruments makes a 12 watt one that people have been using in mods PTN04050 is the part number

that's what I thought, I have ordered some free samples from them... just waiting for the fedex guy! was also wondering about these... LVBoost - Boost Converter they put out 500mA. could anybody tell me what is the minimum I might need?

Really it depends on the atomizer. A 2.2ohm atomizer @ 5volts wants 2.27 amps anything less and you wont be at 5 volts anymore. A 2.5 ohm atomizer @ 5volts wants 2 amps. So it depends on the ohms of the atomizer as to how many amps it will want. but it is safe to say the 500ma is way underrated even for 3.7 volt vaping it isn't enough.

You'll want a minimum of 2amps, 3Amps to be sure.
Most stuff will function outside of the rating by a reasonable margin. You how ever sacrifice longevity of the device.
