    No you can't
    Buyer beware.
Cookies, Cookies where have you been what have you looked at what are you buying your name/address etc. BIG BROTHER IS HERE IN THE ecig WORLD NOW.
Since the new Evic hooks up to your computer and you give them lots of your information over the internet with:oops: there software. I was wonding what other information about us will there get and sell to others? I think after we buy the evic from them they could sell lots of information and habits about us to other companys and make lots of ;) more money on us. What's your thoughts ?

    Somewhere
Every single word, and every single pic posted on this forum (except for private messages) is open for ANYONE in the whole wide world with an internet connection to see, copy and download. I never really thought about it much until I started seeing all my pics on google images.

So how many puffs you take off your eVic a day and at what resistance and voltage, is hardly something to worry about IMO.

    Just saying....

You are logged into a forum that has the exact same abilities, just the same in any other website you visit.
Ever done an IP lookup? Every website is aware of your IP address when you visit it, and your ISP records your visits. You don't want the Evic program to access your information? Then use the firewall that every windows operating system is supplied with to prevent access to the outside world. Want to protect your privacy, then learn how to, simple. But please don't blame others for what you fail to educate yourself with. Yes your ISP and cell phone service records everything you do, say, type and go - they are required to by our laws and government. Technology is a freedom that we must use responsibly. If technology can be used to prevent incidents such as what happened in CT yesterday, it is a freedom that I am willing to surrender( also one I sign without spending hours reading and understanding the fine print). Freedom is everything, including dangerous. Most of this information is only accessible via an electronic search warrant. Ignorance is bliss, knowledge is power, both hold responsibility and accountability - wanted or not.

Lol, Welcome to the age of no privacy..
Ok, so you use your bank card, shop online, text friends, make calls on your cell phone, use GPS, Drive anywhere on a road or highway.
Today's technology consists of collecting data about you at every turn...from purchases made to how often you withdraw money, how frequently you pay your bills to where you drive on the highway. Who you text and what you text them on your phone, directions you've searched on your GPS or through google maps. Emails you've sent and received to forums posted on, social networking sites...ect.
Your private life is about as private as leaving the front door wide open with a big neon sign saying " Come on in, make yourself at home"
Trust me when I say that I've got bigger fish to fry then worry about what atomizer I'm using or how often I vape a day....besides I'd be proud of that number going up, means less analogs I've consumed. Say it loud and proud...I kicked Ash :)

Ok I am usually super paranoid about the world and the evic connecting to my computer and saving info to it isn't a problem and it doesn't even upload your information to JoyeTech it just detects and makes it easier. You don't even have to put information into the device for it to work and just leave the name blank, not to sure where this detection thing came from. It doesn't have a GPS RFID system so big brother can determine where you are, though that would be cool for the vape hike that you hurt yourself on and need help. It's a nice little system that gives some fun information but really, nothing is going to cause any problems and we shouldn't have to worry.

Now I am going to go back to wearing my tin foil hat so the government can't read my thoughts. :p
