Okay.. Spiced Cheese Bread

1 cup water
1 tsp active dry yeast
3 cup preferred flour (I like wheat or whole grains if your machine can handle it)
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 large egg
2 TBSP water
1/2 cup your favorite cheese (aim for a medium firmness cheese)
1/2 tspn Cardamom
1/2 tspn coriander
2 tspn olive oil

The only thing I would say is if you are using a really old machine, the cheese could possibly stick to any scratches in the coating of the pan for non-sticky surfaces...

Yeah, i think maybe i will do another one soon Seabrook. I dont know about the dog food one. My dog loves my bread as it is. He gets all happy when a bake a loaf cause he knows i will break down and give him a piece. Crockpot might be a good idea to do. Cheesecake is awesome but i am trying to watch my manly figure. I will think about it some more and try to get another contest going this next month.

Thanks for the brilliant idea Seabrook

Well you don't really need a recipe for dog food. Just take ground meat and mix it with grated zucchini, carrots (or other veggies) a couple of eggs, brown rice (or barley or oats) and bake it like a meatloaf. That could be expensive if you have a big dog, though. I use only 2/3 cup a day for my little 8 & 10 lb yorkies; then kibbles in the evening.

Have fun with your DIY'ing.

Java, I have GREAT recipes for any category....well, except for dog food, lol. My Great Dane can't have "people food" at all.

Pressure cooker, crock pot, skillet, I've got some you'll love! AND I'll post them without an entry into the contest :)

Hmm, do I see a recipe social club forming here? If so, I'll post raw food recipes. I've also got tons of veggie burger recipes, but they're cooked. You could call it the Susie Homemaker Recipe Social Club.

LOL...if YOU make it, they (I) will come!

My Dane was brought up on RAW for a couple of years. She was four when we rescued her and was on Canidae dog food and that's what we feed her. Have to watch her, though, when we have chicken :)

I have binders full of people recipes, though, and love to share!

Here is the honey wheat bread recipe I spoke of. We love this bread! On my bread maker, I have to turn the crust setting down as far as it will go. Enjoy!

Honey Wheat Bread

1/2 cup milk
6 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
3/4 cup bread flour
1 tablespoon yeast

Put ingredients in bread pan in order suggested by bread machine instructions. Set for whole wheat crust.

Yield: 1 1/2 pound loaf

I am a guy and also on the lazy side. But a bread machine is simple slap all the stuff in it hit the button then 3 hours later you have some fresh home made bread much better then what you buy in the store and with out the preservatives.

Same here, my mother gave me my bread machine years ago. It so great to smell that fresh bread baking. I haven't made bread in about a year, until I saw your post... Here is my first recipe and I am making it now.:)

JALAPENO

1 1/2 POUND

water (80F/27C) - 3/4 cup
lemon juice - 1 tsp
oil - 2 1/2 TBL
whole kernel corn (well drained) - 3/4 cup
jalapeno peppers (well drained) -3 TBL (I normally put 1/4 cup or more :p)
sugar - 2 TBL
salt - 1 1/2 tsp
bread flour -3 cups
corn meal - 1/2 cup
fresh cilantro (optional tastes good with or without) - 1 TBL
active dry yeast - 2 tsp

Use the white bread setting.

If you like spicy food go for the 1/4 cup of jalapenos. Never go more then 1/2 cup or the bread may fall.

Here's one of my standby recipes that I use in the fall, and for stuffing during the holidays (replacement for plain jane bread):

1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
3 tablespoons nonfat dry milk powder
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
1 1/2 teaspoons dried dill weed
1 1/2 teaspoons celery seed
1 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley
3 cups bread flour
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

Put your dry ingredients, then wet. Set for normal, and white bread. I normally take it out after the 2nd rise, and place it in my own breadpan, but that's me. (It makes me look like I actually made this from scratch ;) )

OK, A simple bread machine mod:
1st unplug the bread machine. Then drill a 7mm hole in the top. press into the hole a 510 atty connector and hook up the wires to the door open sensor. fill the entire hopper with 1.6 gallons of your fav E-juice. set the temp knob to high, plug it back in and vape your self silly.

(If this doesn't work then follow the instructions in post #14)
