This contest is open to eveyone and the winner receives a 3.7 volt Super-T1 801 equipped model with adjustable airflow and a little special "bling" factor thrown in. (i'll post pics of the prize shortly)
As you may or may not know, Super T Manufacturing offers a 6 volt extension sleeve for the T1. It simply screws on between the body and the cap allowing you to run two Cr2 3.0 volt batteries in place of the 16340 3.7 volt battery.
You may have previously seen my "Seamless machining" video (posted elsewhere in the Super T forums) that shows how the seam between the 6v sleeve and body is nearly invisble.
The contest is easy:
Pictured below are the ends of Six Super T's, TWO of which have a 6 volt sleeve screwed on them. Look closely at the pics and pick which two have the sleeve on them! These all were rough machined within an hour of each other (no buffing done yet). There are no tricks, photoshop or alterations, there truly are two 6 volt sleeves screwed on two of them!
Rules:
1. You must email supertmanufacturing@yahoo.com with your ECF user name and which two you think have the sleeve screwed on them. Put in the email subject line: Contest. Also, please post your guess on here too! I'll be giving a few hints in the future
2. You must have been a registered ECF member prior to todays date (09/06/09). If you are new to the forums and truly have been lurking and would like to enter, please email me first.
3. One entry per person.
4. All entries will be put into a "hat" at the conclusion of the contest and the winner drawn at random.
5. Even if your guess is wrong, you have an equal chance of winning!
6. Contest runs for three weeks and at the end of the contest, i will post a picture taken at the same time as these with the sleeves unscrewed to reveal which ones they were!
I take great pride in the quality of work I do on each and every Super T1 I produce. Each one is meticulously made by "hand" to exacting tolerances. If you own another product and it has a sleeve or cap or seam, compare it with the Super T and I am confident you will see the difference!
Feel free to post your guess on here too, as it doesn't matter if you are right or wrong, you have an equal chance of winning! Just don't forget to also email me with your choice or you will not be officially entered. Good luck!
